  1. ok thanks. the 64 gram is really what im looking for as well but dint want it in stiff. and their regular would have been a bit light for me. so i opted for a w6ba in sr which is around 67gs. would you know the cpms or your w5ba?
  2. what made you decide to get the 5ba over the 6ba? if im not mistaken you mentioned you were set on the 6ba. im starting to get iffy on my decison on the 6ba
  3. bob thanks for posting.read your reviews. sounds like you have a winner. im fighting the urge to bookmark the page. not good for my kindneys
  4. thanks for the info:) interesting youd post this, i found this site because of a google check on this very club. i have since then forgotten about this and have gotten other goodies. being a chip pretty well with my 9 iron and ive got no space i will have to let this club pass. unless i remove one of my hybrids.
  5. Lol i was curious as well. waiting for the w6ba and epon 460 to be mated:) what shaft model are you getting and what head is it going to?
  6. anyone know the head weight of an original eldik? putter seems heavier than the leap but i am getting some head twisting as opposed to my modified leap. my leap is around 370 now with the mods.
  7. thanks for sharing. i love my callway ercIII it hasnt left my bag since i got it. ive tried many and this one is my favorite. lets hope it doesnt get replaced by my upcoming epon. how do you find the callway x hybrid? i had a 17* that was so diffucult to hit, maybe attributable to the stock shaft it came with.
  8. i wouldnt say blatant ripoff but defintely see the resemblance. this one looks like a variant of the scotty newport 2 detour except that the blinker is longer, wider and rounded at the edge.
  9. yes i have decided to leave the oem graphite shafts. yes i have compared the 701 and 801, the aesthetics of the 801 are a lot better and are more streamlined. top line is also much thinner than the 701. the mg801 also seems it is also more for the better player compared to the 701. imho you cant go wrong with the m801. they are one of the most beautiful clubs i have seen and owned.
  10. i agree my leap has a lot of scratches at the upper part of the heel due to the exposed part of the cover. metal clashes with other irons. time to get a full closed mallet neoprene cover
  11. g could you post pics of your golds 402? thanks
  12. yes will do that. really curious about the gft4. it was my first choice but opted for the epons because of the solid reviews
  13. leap is a neo mallet and certainly gets my vote for being one of the best. of course there could be others better like the gold's, zomos etc but havent tried those yet. for now the leap gets my vote
  14. i agree. they are charging exorberrant prices on their items. my other hk supplier had the woods for $750hkd for the heads but only for 5w.
  15. yes that is the shaft i am using. honestly i find the flex just right. as for the trimming i dont know for sure, dad gave me his old tourstage viq 36 with this shaft. il check and verify on what exactly was done with the shaft
  16. damn! these are gorgeous. works of art indeed. i can just keep staring at it,his grinds are very unique as well
  17. still looking for a gfield 4 wood. too bad i missed the one on sale here at BST. shafted or just the head. please drop me a pm thanks. need one to compare with the epons
  18. i may consider getting a gft 4 wood just for comparison. that was my original first choice before i decided on the epons. i can recommed the 18* gft hybrids. one of the easiest clubs to hit.
  19. it is the best putter i have owned as well. i see that your epon wood is out of your bag, how do you compare it with your gft 4?
  20. iam actually using a fujikura tour 26.3 shaft. it is about 58 grams and had it trimmed to 44.5 for experimentation. this is my current shaft of choice for now and hit it more consistently than my other 45.5"/46" shafts although losing about 10-15 yards. i find the trade off acceptable for now. will be getting a roddio w6ba sr soon for more experimentation. as for the momentus, i had used it before and it completely threw my timing off. took me about 2 weeks to get my groove back.
  21. you get golf clubs every week? wow! you and your wife are one of the luckiest golfers i know. and her setup is one of the prettiest as well.
  22. i too have the 15* and 18* although i hardly ever use the 18. both are top quality and of a different level. i tend to agree with the others when they say it is not so forgiving. i probably would have hit the gfield more consistenly had i opted for that route but decided on the epons. for now i am quite happy with the stock machline 65g stiff shafts they came with. although i am planning on getting the quattros based on all the positve reviews.
  23. this is a great putter at a great price, if i dint already have a leap i would get this.
