Thanks Gocchin! I was actually lookin at the 8072s if I were going to get Axiv's. The GD I-65 seems interesting too since I have always had good experiences with GD shafts (had the m-65 in my old X-drive 405 HR). Anyways thanks for the help again. Your posts and blogs at Inpakuto are always helpful!
G, spending too much time here huh? i thought youd never give up your Tittys! anyway good choice on the epons. let you try my driver when it arrives although the w6ba sr would be too soft for you. no harm in trying. also you cant go wrong with that axiv you seleced, many have had great success with it.
i agree with Gocchin, fill up your stats in the fitting thread, tourspecgirl can recommend a good shaft for you.

Many may have read my posts of the Roddio I-10 iron shafts. I found that they have now included info on the following site. http://www.roddio.jp/iron.html
When Chris built my irons, we weighted them to slightly ease the flex from S. Works well for me. I have a late 90s driver SS.
bob thanks for posting.read your reviews. sounds like you have a winner. im fighting the urge to bookmark the page. not good for my kindneys

thanks for the info:) interesting youd post this, i found this site because of a google check on this very club. i have since then forgotten about this and have gotten other goodies. being a chip pretty well with my 9 iron and ive got no space i will have to let this club pass. unless i remove one of my hybrids.

thanks for sharing. i love my callway ercIII it hasnt left my bag since i got it. ive tried many and this one is my favorite. lets hope it doesnt get replaced by my upcoming epon.
how do you find the callway x hybrid? i had a 17* that was so diffucult to hit, maybe attributable to the stock shaft it came with.

i will start off by saying, i am a cameron fan, i do game a GSS newport two and collect some pieces(rare headcover and some accessories, etc.)
but i will have a custom gold's factory on the way soon, when i decide what i want.
but this is a blatant rip-off of sasaya's blinker if you ask me.
check out www.scottycameronblog.com and the first topic, about the 009 "wing back" experimental, scroll through the pics and you will see it
i wouldnt say blatant ripoff but defintely see the resemblance. this one looks like a variant of the scotty newport 2 detour except that the blinker is longer, wider and rounded at the edge.

Yes, I think it's wise to leave a Honma clubs with their stock shafts. Unlike other makes they do take a good deal of care balancing theirs shafts in the clubs. Honma is known for precisely their graphite shafts which are of top quality and have been in the forefront of development, so if you decide not to use the shafts, why don't you find other makes that are better with steel shafts such as Mizuno, Titlest, etc. Don't ruin Honma shafts by taking them out of the heads.
The TW901 is the tour professional line which a steel shaft option is available.
I have a question, have you compared the MG701 vs the MG801? I find the former to be to forgiving and I need a bit of challenge but not too difficult, so I have been considering the MG801.
yes i have decided to leave the oem graphite shafts.
yes i have compared the 701 and 801, the aesthetics of the 801 are a lot better and are more streamlined. top line is also much thinner than the 701. the mg801 also seems it is also more for the better player compared to the 701.
imho you cant go wrong with the m801. they are one of the most beautiful clubs i have seen and owned.

Leap M is fantastic!!!!! BUT, the headcover absolutely sucks!!!! My putter already has more dings in it than all putters I've ever owned put together.
i agree my leap has a lot of scratches at the upper part of the heel due to the exposed part of the cover. metal clashes with other irons. time to get a full closed mallet neoprene cover

I'd love to hear opinions/debates. I've only ever been into heal/toe weighted putters but i think i need to widen my horizons a little.
Does the G-Field Leap or Leap M (whatever the difference is, i'm not sure) rank around the best?
LEAP vs LEAP MLeap is shorter heel to toe with a thicker top line making it easier for the average putter.
Leap M is longer heel to toe thinner top line with a more shallow face making it better for the more advanced putter.
Same theory as the #1 vs #2 premium zone putters.
Shorter heel to toe reduces head twist during the putting stroke.
leap is a neo mallet and certainly gets my vote for being one of the best. of course there could be others better like the gold's, zomos etc but havent tried those yet. for now the leap gets my vote

If you are referring to Fuji Tour Platform or Tour Release 26.3 then IMO they play soft to flex. I have a 85 to 90 max ss, I had 2 TP stiff on Sonartac 3 wood. Of course, I am assuming that you are not tip trimming to playing length which would affect stiffness.
yes that is the shaft i am using. honestly i find the flex just right. as for the trimming i dont know for sure, dad gave me his old tourstage viq 36 with this shaft. il check and verify on what exactly was done with the shaft
