  1. Excellent opening post and replies. This is certainly one of the best sites I visit. Nicklaus and I are the same age. He is the better golfer by far. What we share is a deep respect for the game and enjoying quality equipment. Thanks for the great thread! teespoon
  2. I like this Driver. Hefty compared to my Titlest setup, but very well balanced, just as workable off the Tee, and 5 to 15 yards longer. Ball flight is lower ,as it is 9*loft, and 983k is 11.5. The shaft plays very well. Feel on total swing is really right with you. I prefer these borethru clubs, and Yonex built a nice one. Can't imagine tossing it out. It's in the bag!
  3. At 67, I am no 'Big Hitter ' anymore , but I will check when I play my home course today. Biggest difference from Titlest is the lie angle which is visually more upright. When I address the ball, the toe is slightly raised, and it works fine. Overall weight is almost an oz. more than 983k. Shaft has a heftier feel but very nice action. Club is as workable as the Titlest and also has a neutral face angle that I prefer. When regripping I decided to leave the overall clublength alone, and see if I can hit it straight. Seems fine on the range.
  4. Corporation V-Mass 400 SE+ Spec 400 9°,10.5° Sole: 1 (loft), V-mass, 400SE+, (Yonex logo), YONEX, (arrow graphic), (circular weight insert) Back: SPEC 400cc (space) TITANIUM Toe: (segmented line), (segmented line), (line), MUSCLE•POWER, FACE (line), (segmented line), (segmented line), (line) Crown: (Yonex logo alignment mark) View Photo (there is a photo there of both Drivers)
  5. Just found it on Non conforming lists of USGA and R&A with pic of legal Driver and the one with SE+ that I found. COR must be over .830 limits. Prob more like others at .860. I like it. teespoon
  6. Similar, Yes, but it has SE+ after the 400. Front has the word Musclepower if that helps. Hit it a bunch this AM. It is stock length and I may not shorten it to my stanrd 44" as it is straight , Long, and workable. I like it! TY for info
  7. I live beside a golf couse and I found this Driver his morning in the ditch behind my yard. It looks a lot like my 983K and has a shaft by C.A.R.B.O.N. I am in process of cleaning it up and replacing a torn grip. It is 9* Driver. Thanks for any info. I think it is Japanese . teespoon
