Agree with you, not up to the originality of last years. I have ordered the Srixon Japanese cover from TourSpec, will let you know what it's like.

Agree-the new patterns are not as interesting as last years which are still available from the Japan website. Could anyone who has the blade cover please give me an idea of size, length and hight. With no distributor in the UK I am going to have to order blind. Many thanks.

There is one area in which Golds Factory and Kramski are similar and that is price-they are both very expensive. Putting is more subjective than any other part of the game and if an expensive putter gives the feeling of confidence then the price is justified. However it is interesting to note the number of top players who have putted superbly with a Ping Anser in the past. That company now produce an expensive version of the same thing in order to compete in the market. I would love to try a Golds Factory putter -but would I really feel the difference?

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I have tried lead tape on the butt and lower on the shaft and, as you say it makes the club heavier, but does nothing for the balance. Perhaps the lesson for larger headed putters is - leave well alone.

I have lengthened my Bobby Grace M5K putter from 34" to 35" and regripped with a standard Lamkin. Something I have done with a number of putters over the years, however on this occasion the feel and balance have been lost. What are your views on backweighting and could this restore the feel of this, until now, very forgiving putter?

I have given up trying to source a Srixon putter to add to my Srixon bag, the pictures look good but trying to see one in the UK is as hard as finding hens teeth. So I am looking at the 'Yes' range mallets and would appreciate any thoughts/experiences. With thanks
