Thanks for the replies guys, But honestly which is more forgiving, (i know if i want forgiveness i should go with the 502 or 701) but to satisfy my curiousity, between the 302 and TP burner considering they have the same shaft (say nippon 950 GH). Which will be more forgiving? Your answer are greatly appreciated. Especially from TSG experts who has tried on the field and not on the driving range carpet.

Hi guys, I am an 11 handicapper. Now playing the old TM 300 series with kbs shaft. I have a decent iron play. Weakness> Driver and reading the green. Right now I am thinking of switching. Need your inputs/advise on these, especially from experts that have hands-on experience. 1. Distance 2. Forgiveness 3. Feel So which should I get? Or they are only for single digit hdc and therefore I should go with the epon 502 or R9 max. Thanks

Guys... Can anybody provide me with full review of diamana Ali'islei. I have searched the forum.. there are some post available but nothing in full reports I have read the post from Tourspecgolfer and Parputt, and learnt that Gocchin have tried it.. but no review are posted. So review/reports from TSG experts and experienced users of this shaft is most welcome. Thanks
  5. Again a very useful input from you, Gocchin. Guess I just need to commit on my driver and improve my swing. Hopefully I will be able to reduce the spin rate and increace my ball velocity. Thanks
  6. Guys.. How do you load the shaft to create the maximum impact? Or some may say "let the shaft do the work". My ss is around 98mph... Total distance is 240y with 220y carry (which is average). I feel that my swing lack of impact which create lower ball velocity on the LM. Any drill or tips is much appreciated. Thanks
  7. Thanks for your inputs Gocchin, I did ask my local pro about the excessive spin I had, he says that the excessive spin I generate come from my hands and arms. In order to improve my distance (with less spin), I could incorporate more of my lower body. I am working on it. I am quite ok with the geotech/matrix combo, but I think that I don't fully load the shaft on my downswing. Unlike when I tried the regular xcon-5, I can always feel the kick on the shaft, which is unbelievable. Is there any drill/technique I could try to load the shaft even more? Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
  8. Guys, need your help on this one.... My previous driver 2008 tourstage viq 10.5* SR with vd_50 shaft. This driver gave a crazy hook at the end of the ball flight and ball spin above 3500+(very high ball flight). These are the spec on my new driver. Head: geotech black 455. Loft 9.5 Shaft: matrix xcon-5 stiff grip: iomic lenght: 45 sw: D2 Total weight : 308 my data on zelocity launch monitor. (average of 8 swings) ss: 98.4 ball velocity: 138 launch angle: 14.4 ball spin: 3000 carry: 221.4 total distance: 239.8 ptr: 140.2 CPM: 249-250 ( don't quite understand about it) swing tempo: smooth.. but I tend to be agressive on the downswing handicap: 12.3 Prefered ball fight: mid On course report: Ball flight is mid.. and only 2 or 3 shots will stray left or right. I want to know whether this driver is fitted to me correctly or will I be better with a firm or regular shaft? heavier shaft (xcon-6)? Or 10.5* head to improve my distance. TGS expert and others please need your input. Thank you
  9. Thanks for the information . I will call them up to check on the wedges. .. and thanks for the invitation..
  10. Hi Bigvivec. I am also a big fan of tourstage product and living in Jakarta. I own the 2007 wedge 56* 14 bounce.. great wedge tons of spin. I love it around the green for the spin and control. Whereas the high bounce really works well on soft turf ( most of the course I played are soft). I am very happy with it and it will be in my bag for a long time. Bytheway from your previous post you mention that there is a store that sells the older version of the tourstage wedge (not the 2007). May I know the name and location of the store? Thanks
