chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearWell boys, the bag is finally set. Scratch got here yesterday and went out for the inagural round today. So much better than the Vokey's I had! X-16 Pro Series that have tour stickers but I can't tell a difference, 200 tour ridge top w/ pro 95 and a Royal Collection 5 wood that isn't here yet but should be here by the end of the week. The MR's were damn hot but I'm hitting like $%# lately and the x-16's are so much more forgiving. Mid summer and I finally decide on a bag, better late than never. Oh yeah, I got a red x. First round out was a 85 but I feel a lot better about the bag now. :money:  :money:  :money:

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI had a bartender from the big sleazy on my plane not too long ago and boy was she ever a little freak. I have not made the visit the Nawlins but I'm not real sure I want to go. Maybe there is a reason it's sinking. Great story about New Orleans cops... My two best friends went to the sugar bowl last year and while partaking in the ambiance of everything, they noticied this guy who was decked out in full OU regalia. After having a few too many he decides he needs to scream "f**k LSU" at the top of his lungs. This doesn't go over well with Boudreaux,Tibideaux (made up cajun names...not my friends) and all the other LSU fans. The poor Sooner gets his behind kicked royally by about sixteen of the biggest cajuns in existence. Then to add insult to injury after they pile off of him, the cops who had been watching the whole thing strode over and cuffed him up and hauled his ass to jail LOL. GEAUX LSU!!!!

Not Able to Rely/Send PM
Once the PM is read it goes from the outbox to the sent box. I would think it's not being read if it's stuck in your outbox.

Light can do funny things but no it does not look like there is one bit of offset. Titleist has a new prototype blade out could this be a pic of it?

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearDO NOT GIVE IN TO THE PRESSURE!!!!!! Tell the kids as soon as they get you on who wants to marry my dad, you'll consider number three. You gave it a chance.. twice and it still didn't work out. Some people just aren't the marrying type. Why do that to your golf game  Did you see Shivas Irons while you were hitting???????

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearNow all we need is for Mike to chime in and everybody will be accounted for. Red X is now in the bag and has one round under it's belt. I pulled a couple of putts which I could never do with the futura so the x's days may be numbered. I just want to like it so much, I'm really cheering for it. The futura is just damn ugly but I can't get it out of the bag. Did you guys get your wedges yet??????

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearSo I played this morning, 5 1/2 hour round. Are you F-ing kidding me. It was a joke. I don't see how you guys can play tourneys and have 6 hour rounds. I had no timing whatsoever. I shot a (un)smooth 43-43. I can honestly say it was one of the most torturous rounds I've ever played. Should I write the director of golf and bitch? The course was NOT crowded at all. There was a marshall and everything but he obviously wasn't doing jack s**t about the pace of play. More and more out here the pace of play is 5-6 hour rounds and it's really wearing thin on my nerves. Alternatives: join a country club- not here, cheapest initiation is around 15,000 and that course isn't even that great. TPC Summerlin and Southern Highlands are 75,000 and 125,000 respectively both great courses but I don't have that kind of jack laying around. The courses justification for the pace issue seems to be that since the tourists (sorry guys but you get raped on golf here) pay such high green fees that the courses don't want to piss them off. I say who cares your loyal base of play is locals and 5+ hour rounds isn't bringing us out in droves. Just my bitch and rant for the day           Got another round at Paiute tomorrow afternoon so we'll see how much better that is........

How about that Maria Sharapova!!!
chainsaw replied to primo's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear10 years difference is legal isn't it? She ain't too shabby looking. Maybe I should drop golf and take up tennis, it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper :money: . The chicks at Wimbledon are way hotter on average than the US Open IMHO.

Hilary as VP
chainsaw replied to chainsaw's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearShoe- Agree fully on the shopping around of the healthcare. I think one of the major issues that doesn't get touched on enough is Rx coverage. Prescriptions costs are up so much it's ridiculous. Now, I'm a little torn on this since my girlfriend and I hit it from opposite sides. She works for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies and I work for a PBM. We can get into some interesting conversations but usually seperate work and our social lives. I will say that I've been on some amazing quota trips to some unbelievable locations all expenses paid. However, I'm not naive and realize where the money is coming from. I don't have the numbers in front of me but rx costs have to rise something like 300% anually. Part of the problem is how dependent we as a country are on pills to solve our problems. I think I read in one of your posts you are a pharmd so I'm sure you're fully aware of the issue. The medicare drug bill is a start but it in no way is a solution. There's my political rant for the afternoon. I have great rx coverage but I'm way in the minority.

Tiger and Graphite
It doesn't appear to have helped much. He only hit 57% of his fairways. His distance was pretty good at 322. I didn't see any coverage but his fairways hit is probably around what it has been before the switch.

i bought VOLVIK CRYSTAL balls anyone else tried???
Plus1- I saw them a while ago, my girlfriends mom had some of the distance ones. I did not put one into play but putted with one on the practice green. Not sure if they come in multiple designs but the distance ball felt like a rock! They apparently are huge in West Texas but I haven't come across any here in Vegas. How much were they?

Hilary as VP
chainsaw replied to chainsaw's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearApparently the dem's see her as being able to strenghten the ticket like no one else. It would be a great move to get the female voters out in full force. For some reason the middle american housewife connects so well with Hilary. I guess they find her empowering. I personally am very freightened by the prospect. I can see some crazy estrogen mad female taking out Kerry if he gets elected just to have Hilary as prez. On a side note Chelsea has has some major work done. She din't look half bad the last time I saw her and that's something I never thought I'd say.

Hilary as VP
chainsaw posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearJust read an article on www.drudgereport.com, apparently Hilary is getting serious consideration as a VP canidate. Since Pete tried to start a political thread I'm going to mix golf and politics and test the water to see how you guys feel about this one. Personally I say this to her :-) :poop: I think she would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to our country. Her platform will apparently be National healthcare. How is that working up north?

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearMeg Thatcher naked will NEVER be visually appealling. :chickblnd: Trot over to the pin up spread and deposit some of those chicks in your spank bank and maybe along with some zyprexa the bad people will go away. I've developed tardive dyskenisa from waiting for my Scratches. So a little tick is nothing. I'm going to have a nice little offering to the golf gods of my Vokey's when $ wedges arrive. I'm thinking black robes and lots of explosives  Maybe leave one in the desert and the other in Lake Mead so the new clubs know they better never deliver my ball to one of those places or they'll be next.

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearIt's all about swingpath with me. A nice fade is what is most visually appealing to me for some reason. The main fault that I have in my swing is a really sweet over the top move :wah: :wah: I usually like to set up open with the driver and swing along my body. The problem that I run into there is my lower body opening too quickly and voila dead right. Now when I set up closed or straight the OTT move comes and boom dead left. I think what I'm getting at is I need a lesson. :money: I have a 56 and a 62 coming from Ari. I think I'm around the 5 week threshold right now so they should be here soon.

pt 13 deg/975 with fuji/ new fujikura shafts!!! jat proto!
Wow :surprize: That is a great attitude. Are you Spencer Levin? I'm not gonna go into the whole "if I was your dad spiel" but I really hope that you gain some maturity in the very near future. Otherwise, regardless of how big you may think you are, you have a world of suprise in store for you.

chainsaw replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI plan on taking my :tourstage: eye candy to the range tomorrow for a serious familiarization session. I need to figure out what in the hell I'm doing with my driver as well. When I'm trying to fade it draws and vice versa. My ball is confused, man. I guess I could visualize the opposite shot but that gets confusing as I'v gone cross eyed just thinking about it. :o :smile1: I need to take some pics of the new bag once my $cratch wedges get here. My new TM staff got so damn dirty in her inagural round it was ridiculous :wah: I'm still trying to get all the dust off of it. I've never been caught outside in such strong winds. I've got rounds scheduled for Thurs., Fri., and Sat. I can't wait! :surprize:
