Planning a trip to Tokyo and wondering any nice clubs that you guys can recommend for foreigners to go and have loads of fun?

I have Epon driver 151 with crazy TJ-46 6.7 flex 45" length. Just recently bought Ryoma VSpec 9.5 Crazy Black TJ-46 6.7flex 45.25" and i'm loving it. Ryoma goes longer and more forgiving. With a distance that i normally need to hit a draw shot i can now easily reach with a fade, not to say straight shots. Very forgiving yet solid when impact. The shaft also does a great job, and the look of the driver head + head cover is evil enough!

Just ordered a new Ryoma VSpec 9.5 with Crazy Black 46 from TSG. Have to say thank you to all the people who gave the wonderful reviews here and hope that when i receive it it'll be as good as people suggested. Time to say good bye to my Epon AF151 in a few weeks time!!

Anyone know whether are there any difference between these 2 drivers?

It is kinda sad that fake items are mainly sold in and from china. I totally agree that counterfeit items are unacceptable however there are situations that people must understand. In china the clubs are sold TOO expensive. I went to ShenYang China last year to have a game of golf in one of the best golf courses there, i saw the same taylormade Rescue club i have in my bag, and they're selling RMB 3000 for a stick! For rich people there in China that seems to be no problem, but for general folks who wants to play golf they can't even afford a stick, what to say a bag of clubs? My client bought a driver for RMB8000. The whole set equals to the whole year salary of normal folks. I believe golf is for everyone, not just for the riches. Its unacceptable for counterfeit clubs, but its even more unacceptable and unfortunate for people making golf such an expensive sports, especially in asia countries!!

I just bought a set of AF701 from TSG and frankly speaking i won't change to another set of irons for a long time!! Although i haven't tried the other brands as you listed (as they are not sold here in Aus) I tried brands like Nike VR, Callaway, TM etc and they are no match with Epon.

GREAT! Just on time when i'm deciding to change grip for my driver. I wonder which one feels better - this Nowon grip or Dance with Dragon?

The irons, without a doubt, looking the most fascinating clubs that i ever seen, sleek and pure look. Also i got the new Epon AF101IP (black clubhead) driver with NGS SuperDelight SR flex shaft. Thanks for the reply guys. Luckily i get the facts from you all first and thank you for the patience in replying. I do also think that the Aus seller is over-estimating the price of the shaft. However what shaft do you all think best match with AF101? (my driver swing speed is around 92-98mph. Either a straight shot or tendency to fade to right and I'm a smooth swinger). Thank you guys for the explanation. I couldn't find NGS website online so i don't really know the difference between the NGS Delight shaft and Superdelight shafts. According to the seller the shaft alone selling in Japan would be around AUS 800 (USD 550 approx). This shaft has specific requirement for clubhead not exceeding 145g (which AF101 clubhead is just 145g). He fitted the different shafts like diamana shafts and KBS shafts on the same clubhead but so far Superdelight gave the best result. He's going to send me a demo driver next week to have a few hits and see how i feel. Currently the driver is with Golf Digest Australia for review. (BTW i'm using Taylormade Tour Burner driver, which he describes the between 2 drivers as driving a Australian made Holden car with BMW M5 - both drivers work but obviously Epon AF101 performances is at another level.) Can't wait to see how true this is.

Hi all, Just thought of sharing some informations from a pro golf player here in Aus and representative who sells Epon products in Aus. A friend of mine approached him and we discuss about AF101 driver and shaft options and here are his reply. NGS Superdelight SR Shaft; These shafts are made for the Japanese market only but the head of Epon is able to get them for us, (because the head of Epon uses it and so do I). They are very special shafts, and suited to smooth swingers up to around 100 MPH, they simply ad 20 to 40 metres to your driver shots. Why? This shaft is designed to give a massive kick at impact to accelerate the club through impact, this kick and the fibres used to make this shaft combined with the weight saving is what gives distance without loosing control. It is a very expensive shaft but if you are able to harness it you will have a smile from ear to ear and you will get addicted to your tee shots all over again. The simple benefit to the mid HCP golfer is 1: Distance, ease of hitting, control, and offcourse Distance. The main reason for this is that the 101 has a slightly higher centre of gravity, the SD shaft will get the ball a little higher and therefore it’s best to have the 9.5 loft with the 101 head, this way you get a piercing ball flight. According to him the shaft has a very specific characteristic which will only suit smooth golf swingers. Just sharing around. :) Hope that it makes sense.
