Acctually playing with a Epon AF-302 iron set. Reading your comment, the OnOff Forged seems to be significatevely more forgiving. Could you please confirm my idea? Other iron sets with similar forgiveness or more? Are OnOff Forged available in head only (would like to choose the right shaft with my local fitter)? Thank you in advance for your help.

I haven't been measured with a driver but my average swing speed with an iron 6 is 80 mph. Is it possible to make an estimation of my driver swing speed?

Anyone knows the swing speed suggested for the Bassara Griffin shaft, stiff flex?

Actually I'm playing a Mizuno MP 600 shafted with a Fujikura E150 Stiff (57g weight; 4.5 torque, low/medium bend point...other characteristics on http://www.fujikuragolf.com/2009/pages/e100.html ). Hcp 5, 34 years old, not a hitter (average swing speed iron 6, 80 mph). I'm oriented on buying a Yamaha 2010 Impres X V201 driver shafted with a Bassara Griffing Stiff. Do you think it's a good choice? Is the shaft appropiate to my characterists? Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Bat. I actually play with a Mizuno MP 57 iron set. I was thinking to move to Epon AF 502 or 302. I've seen that you have probably played both: could you please tell me if there is a huge difference in feel between AF 302 and 502. Is AF 302 model more difficult in respect to the 301's? Thanks for your advice. My hcp is 5.

First of all thanks for your help. AF 502 loft is 1° closer on iron 7 - 8 - 9 - PW. Are AF 302 very difficult? I know that I can't have the same feel with AF 302 and AF 502 but there is a huge difference in feel between the two models? FOR APPILAGS What about the difference in feel between Mizuno MP 32's and AF 501?

Hi. Actually I’m playing a Mizuno MP 57 iron set. Mentioned set is good but I’ve read on this site that exists better irons forged in Japan like Epon, Miura, Tourstage and so on. I’m looking for a set that has a good compromise in feel – forgivness. In my opinion Epon’s iron looks great so I was thinking about AF 302 or 502. AF 502 looks and should be easier but lofts are too close. In your opinion changing the loft to the AF 502 model letting them became as the AF 302 make sense? Any suggestion? Please consider that I play twice a week and my hcp is 5. Thanks for your help.
