  1. Used them in a pro event for the first time today. 16 pars a birdie and a triple, s**t happens.. Ball is very soft to chip with and putt with flies very straight with very little spin also flies high and was a club outside the pro v that i normally use, i would seriously reccomend this ball to anyone who has a swing speed of less than 105 with a driver. Anymore than that and you compress it to much and lose loads of distance. :-)
  2. if you want to stay with that head i suggest trying a fuji vista tour 70X you will need to tip 3/4 inch and change ball to pro v1 x.

  5. got this from the TM european tour department should have got a 10.5 i've hit about 25 balls on the range with it so its mint condition. Looking for £275 or a trade.
  6. I just purchased a MR23 15 degree spoon with a TXD 65 S and an Air Muscle 2 iron from plus1, they arrived saturday morning and were both pristine as he had stated, cant hit balls until tomorrow though, its torture. Well its now Sunday afternoon and i've just got off the practise ground, i spent a good 3 hours out there. I hit 50 balls to warm up slowly working through my irons Miura CB 201's with dynalite gold S300's, and when i felt i was hitting it good i pulled the headcover off the Air Muscle. I hit about 30 balls off the deck and the same again off a low tee, the flight was fantastic just what you need for a links course. we get a lot of wind here and you need clubs that can make the ball go low when you want it, fair to say its in the bag and my TRC is out. Moved on to the MR23 3 wood first hit my only thought was that sounds like a block (persimmion), the flight was a touch high for my liking but it felt great, im putting the ball flight down to the shaft. Its a touch lighter than i normally use and mid kick. If youre a fan of traditional equipment with fantastic quality and performance you cant go wrong with Tourstage. Thanks again Plus1

but thats where youre wrong the sweet spot is exactly the same size in all clubs, it is the way the club is made that determines how the ball reacts when struck off centre. Centredness of strike is the over whelming factor on ball flight so carry and distance are directly effected. In other words if you had hit a cb short and right at least you would have carried the pond and stuffed it in the bunker instead.

thanks i know its the right move for me, i just kept hitting the gemini left, i put it down to closed face in the end, i really fancied the prospec 390 but as a pro i just couldnt justify spending $900 on a whim, so the TP it is.

no point in telling your buddies you play blades, when you hand them the $10 side bet cos you missed it short and right on the last is there.
  10. if youre bombing it over 290 carry it might be worth trying, but if not there is definetly a graphite shaft out there with your name on it.
  11. XR-05 Cti is a lot longer than the gemini but it does have 0.86 COR. It retails in UK for £449.00 with standard TM superlite shaft or at todays exchange rate $812.69.

The black heads are out this week, i've been using a gemini with nv 65S in for a while and the only downside is hitting the ball slightly below the middle you get an incredible amount of spin a ball that looks like its going miles then falls out of the sky 50 yards short. Akfly just remember when you change from TP to Gemini the shafting depth is different by 1/2 inch. This post is like weird for me as i ordered a TP with NV 75S from TM tour van today, im picking it up tomorrow, you guys are making me feel like im going the wrong way.
  13. the XR-05 Cti that we are selling in the UK is very very definetly not conforming.

Guys there is absolutely no point to getting a mixed set IMO. The short irons in the 201's look like blades, feel like blades and play like blades just a lot more forgiving so why except for asthetic reasons would you want to do that. They also give a really good flight so someone please explain why you would give up the forgiveness of a cb in the short irons when they are your scoring clubs?
  15. Come on guys show some interest please :!:

aqdriver i would say go for it yes they have a blade profile but put the right shaft in them and they will be fantastic. You can make a club easier to hit by changing the shaft try TX 90 and Winn grips the whole aspect of the club changes, same with project X. If you like the look of the club its half the battle and with these theres nothing not to like.
  17. Limited edition set of 50th Anniversary Hogan blades, must sell to make way for cb 201's. Used for 3 months just normal bag wear no nicks or dings

I hit my cb 201's for the first time yesterday and was converted instantly. I have always played hogan limited edition blades because i loved the feel and flight, but the cb 201's are to be honest in a different league i hate the word buttery but your right they are. I hit a 3 iron into our 220 yard par 3 great high flight right at the stick, but i had to have a look at the face to see where i'd hit it, they feel like nothing else. I own a launch monitor so i used it to work out the right TT shaft for me, i chose dynalite gold S300 based on carry, dispersion, and height. Playing on a links course with very firm greens you need the height to stop the ball quick. I would advise anyone to go on a launch monitor to work out the right shaft, but back to my cb201's you can't go wrong with a set of these.
  19. so youve had them a week and youre selling them. May i be so bold as to enquire why? After these there is no where left to go.
  20. Tricky subject this i suggest you think about what you want to know. A good launch monitor like the swing dynamics one will give you information on exactly what the ball is doing take out the poor shots and you can get a very good feeling for what works and what doesn't. At the end of the day golf is about what the ball is doing not what shaft or club you are using, if you combine the information you get from a fitting on a launch monitor with your likes and dislikes as far as head shape and feel is concerned you should get pretty close to what you need.
  21. Mikey can you send me some pics, and whats the damage. [email protected]

Great ball flight and very true lofts, i have a 9 degree with a 652 in it. Downside its not very big in modern standards so not very forgiving but very pure classic feeling at impact when you button one. Hope this helps
  23. Apologies Shaun the same lady at KZG who told me the Gemini was steel has now informed me when i challenged this again that the Protos were steel but the retail version is 4 piece TI even the 2nd face is TI.
  24. Hi shaun, i just e mailed kzg and they confirm gemini is not Ti it is they said an exclusive steel alloy.
