    Guys,

I need your help. I have the original egg spoon 15° currently shafted with a Ilima 70s. I'm actually quite happy with it. The "problem" is that my shots are really really high. I would say they are birderline to balooning. I would lime to try out a new shaft that is slightly lower. Supo67 alredy raved about the Kai'li in a FW. So, this would be one candidate. Another one is the Fubuki Alpha. But actually I don't really know anything about it. Can anyone compare those shafts? Btw, my driver ss is about 100 mph with a smooth transition.

  2. Stew converted me to Yamaha drivers too! I have a v201 non-tour 10 deg with a hard to find roddio pentacross. Amazing head shaft combo. Great ball flight and never really balloons even when your go hard. This shaft is anti-left and really plays well for some fighting a hook. Only complaint is that I can't draw the ball with this club at all. Just scored a Yamaha v440 powerlength with a tourad BB. Super excited about this club. If all goes well, there might be a v201 in bs&t soon.

Wow, sounds like my combo. V201 non tour in 10° with a roddio w6ba. Lovely combo.

  3. Some are longer than others :p We get that.

But the man was trying to get some advise. So help him out.

I still carry the original egg spoon. I think it's a great distance tool. Only downside might be the sound and feel. Not sure how this compares to the newer generation egg spoons, but i can't really imagine that the newer ones are much longer.

  4. Dale, I might have a Roddio w-6ba stiff available in a few weeks. I'm saying might because I am thinking in keeping it to build a back up. It's currently in my Yamaha driver. But i will swap it with a crazy ly02. Torque is 3.9 and weigh according to graphics is 69 grams.

Arigato gozaimas**ta. I actually used to kind of be an Odyssey hater (owned a White Hot XG Teron a few years ago and hated the mushy feel) but when shopping for a new putter lately I started to notice that a lot of people who arent Callaway staffers use Odysseys and figured maybe I was missing something. It kind of makes me wonder if maybe that Odyssey I bought before and found to be mushy was a fake because Im loving my White Ice D.A.R.T. blade.

I don't think it was a fake. I had a white hot xg myself for about a week before I returned it to the shop because the isert was so soft. Mushy so to speek. When I tested it in the shop it was great because you could only hit short puts. But on the course it was terrible for longer putts. No distance control at all. The insert was just too soft.

  6. I wonder how this compares to the original egg spoon which is supposed to be longer than the v2. A 3 way comparison would be sweeeet

I actually have all three here so I will do a physical comparison.

Will snap pics tonight if the ongoing heat wave in Japan cools a bit... (its killing me just to go outside!)

Interested not only in physical appearance but also performance since I'm still baging the original egg spoon.Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
