The Decline of Fair Trading?
thats pretty sad to hear, i always have had good dealing with TSG members but I could see what you are saying. We are not as "cliquey" anymore & there are a lot more internet golfers out there. Hopefully it is just a one off & the trading system may well help....

Cameron Grips, How Much Is Too Much?
I for one think anything over $20 for a grip is CRAZY. Those Winn Cameron grips fetched over $100 in the day, yet I got one for free from a friend "sure its only a piece of rubber"

Irons
blueprint kinda means what it sounds like! It just ensures all your clubs are 100% to spec & there is no funny lofts/lies etc. Porsche irons - dont think so! The main contenders are now: RAC CB 2004 Miura RAC CB TP Milled 2005 (but these apparently hit very high) Nike Blades Scratch CB or Blades Hogan FTX MR-23 US Blade

Just wondering about some new Pin Ups, anyone like Cheryl Tweedy? Google her and see what I am talking about. She broke into my all time top 10 this year. Vida Guerra Aria Giovanni Bettie Ballhaus All good  :surprize:

Irons
MR-23s are sweet - no doubt about it! Alas the grind does not fit me at all, in actual fact its as far away as possible from the grind that I need. I am a picker & they are for super-diggers!

Irons
Now lets get done to it - I have a set of 670 Blades, Satin, blueprinted with Project X 6.5s. Great sticks but I want a change - what is out there? I am looking for reviews, comparisons, feelings, divine inspiration, whatever you got. Irons have 2 big features for me - looks and performance. IMHO you got to have both otherwise you will not be truly happy. Looks - my ideal iron set have very small heads, absolutely no offset, a thin top line & a rounded off toe. I actually have moved on from the Satin craze, chrome is just as good for me. Performance - you need forgiveness. Who doesnt? BUT I feel you need feedback just as much. Try hitting blades from 1972 & compare them to any so called "unforgiving" club nowadays. No contest - we got it easy. However I think a mid-high COG is very important to me, I tend to flair my irons when I am playing poorly & that just kills me in the wind/Lahinch. I have never really noticed a huge distance gap in irons provided same shafts/lofts. The longest hitting iron I ever had was strangely the MR-23 CB. It was consistently 15 yards outside my current 3 iron (670) almost hit it as far as my 3 wood at times! Now - give me your experiences, your wishes, your recommendations! I am thinking we have a lot of choice, but very few REALLY good choices. So far I have the Nikes (still!!) RAC CB and TP CB, Scratch, Z-101s, MP-32s, Srixon Pro-100s but am very easy. Lets hear it!

Tour AD shaft specs - Update
MARU - its a great driver, whatever anyone else says! Its just super hard to hit a draw with! There is no bias & it doesnt "help" you in any way. I think its the head that is causing you to block the ball. Case & and point - I have a 652 Stiff (soft shaft) in the MARU & hit it straight but couldnt really draw it. Yet I can turn over a 983E with a NV 65-X inserted all the way in the bore tru..... Just my 2 cents

Quick Question
I am very confused about the R7 weight kit. I want the R7 & to be able to play around with the weights. I dont just want the 10 - 2 - 2 - 10, but I cant seem to figure out what exactly is on the weight "kit" Advice: I want an R7 with all the weights & the wrench, but dont feel I need the "instructions" - what is my best bet? I searched ebay and some kits seem to have 8 weights, others 12 and one even had 16! What is the norm? A confused Patrick....

MY LEFTY T.P. MILLS
great looking putter, all TP Mills putters seem to be top notch. Personally I dont like the cross hair but he can leave that out no problem. For $500 you really get your money's worth

WTB: R7 TP
I have got some Xmas cash now Want to try out a TP, ideally 9.5* loft. Shaft would be NV 65-S, but X and 75 are doable. Tour or TP doesnt really matter to me. MUST come with weight kit, you can keep that headcover & sell it yourself! Other shaft possibilities are 660TR, SIX, 661, 652, 771TA, Protopype, Tour AD, et al Let me know, Patrick

I need new irons help me please
I am not just pushing Scratch for the sake of it but IF you want unreal small thin heads look at the Classic Blades. In comparison, the MP-33s are HUGE... that is how small these are. Best of the rest - IMHO are the nikes!
