Thanks. Yes, this shaft is new. And sorry for my ignorance on this shaft. I now from experience that shafts need to be tipped for fairway woods, and tipped differently for different fairway woods ( .5" for 3 wood, 1" for 5 woods, 1.5" for 7 wood, etc). Is there guidance on this, or do you just insert this into the fairway wood head regardless of what wood it is?

Thanks for the reply. I've owned many JDM clubs, but not too many JDM shafts. I haven't seen too many USA shafts that were specifically "fairway wood" shafts. Usually a heavier shaft that is tip trimmed some will go in a fairway in relation to the driver. This particular shaft is labeled a "fairway" shaft, so, does that mean it's already tipped? At 55g it's the same weight as many of the light weight driver shafts.

Any other opinions? I intend to put this into my new Callaway Fusion Driver and play at 44.5" Thanks!

Good afternoon. I'm selling off a couple of my JDM golf clubs First im selling my Dance with Dragons iron set. The set consists of 6 - PW. They are shafted with Xcaliber Tour X shafts 95 in regular Flex. They are grouped with green Iomic grips. The 6-iron measures at 37.5 inches with half inch increments down. I am also including a new in plastic 5 iron head. Along with these I'm including a set of Fourteen wedges. They are 48 degrees, 52 degrees, and 56 degrees. The 48 degree wedge is shafted with matching Xcalibur shaft, and the rest have Dynamic gold spinner shafts. Same Iomic grips in the wedges. Played less than 10 rounds and tripes to the range. See pictures for condition. Looking for $800 for irons and wedges or best offer. I'm also selling my A-grind hybrids. The 4 hybrid is the UT Proto utility, and the 5 hybrid is the utility would. Its an uncut, 55g shaft. I'm not extending anything since I can get 45" easily. And with it being 55g, it's not a heavy shaft. I'm not worried about swing weight. I just don't know enough about the shaft if it's designed NOT to be in a driver.
