I love the Nowon No. 1's but they need replacing every few weeks if you hit 'em a lot. Are the Iomic Stickies as tacky? I've tried one or two of them (not the stickies I don't think) and those weren't nearly as tacky as the Nowons.
I can't comment on the Nowon, but I find the Iomic stickies to be very tacky. Coming from Golf Pride New Decades and Tour Velvet's, these are significantly more tacky. If they can stay that way for the whole season I will be thrilled. I only get to play about 25 rounds a year, so that should be realistic.

Nice looking set up!!
For me, Iomics rule.
I played the Golf Pride New Decade Multi compound grips for a couple of years and was surprised how
fast they would wear out. Not the Iomics. They wear like iron.
Best part is if they seem to be getting a bit slick all you do is wipe them down with a warm rag and the tackiness
is back, they feel like new again.
I don't wear a glove, ever.
Have tried several others over the last couple of years but am officially done looking now.
That is one of my goals, to stop wearing a golf glove. I tried with the New Decades, but it didn't work out so well. These feel less abrasive, and potentially to be free from the need for a golf glove, would be nice.

So I just made the jump to Iomics. I have been playing Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound grips for the past two seasons and have been fairly happy with them. I wanted something to match my Nippon Modus 3 shafts, and have been curious about all the love that Iomics get. Had them done yesterday and I am really impressed so far. Unfortunately, I can only swing them lightly in the house, due to doctor's orders, but they feel great. The tacky feel is just what I have been looking for. I don't know how long that tackiness lasts, but it feels great to start with.

I am not sure if this worked, but here is the video discussing the differences in these shafts.

GraphiteDesign just came out with a new shaft called the Tour AD GT, which is supposed to be a fairway wood version of the BB, but alittle easier to get up in the air. This may match what you are looking for. I bought the crazy fw80 7.4 in anticipation of putting it in my Callaway X Hot pro 3 wood when it arrives. Unfortunately, I won't be able to report back for at least another month.

This community has been much larger in the past and thankfully it isn't that way anymore. It started with BSG, then came TSG and all the "tour" guys came here. Then they were like wtf this dudes only focused on JDM product, that left a gap in the market. thus WRX was born. I'm very thankful for WRX, it's a good place and the best part is they now house the many people I prefer not to have around here. No offense to anyone.
We have been around for a long time and pride ourselves in keeping it compact with serious enthusiasts only.
When the num nuts come around I usually scare them off or get rid of them all together and that really isn't a secret. The price I pay is that they go to another forum and bad mouth us, the pay off we get is the TSG community stays civil, informative and very awesome.
We also have a huge lurker base, If you could only see the web statistics. It's international, we have people who never post that frequently visit and have been doing so for over a decade. I want to thank them too!
In regards to the BST. Well we do have rules and if you notice anything suspicious let us know. The rules are in place for a reason. Seriously thanks for caring guys!
There is a new version of TSG in the works, lots of new stuff coming. Our team is very passionate about improving the site. There is also a lot of stuff we do that everyone isn't aware of.
Something goods coming up!
Funny, I participate in both sites and I frequently see argumentative posts on wrx that are akin to road rage. I don't really understand it, and I leave those threads as soon as the arguments start. This is definitely more of a community forum on this site.

That is gonna be an insane set.
I want to put a set of Recoils in the 2013 OnOffs I hope are waiting on me when I get back from Colorado next Wed. The more sensible part of me wants to stop hemorrhaging money on golf clubs when it is 16 degree for a high outside and snow on the ground for the foreseeable future.
If you do want a set of UST Recoils, the guy to work with is Bobby Ennis at the UST Tour Performance Center in Dallas. He has the most experience with these shafts, and is incredibly helpful. His email address is: [email protected]

You will have to stop by in Indy some time on your way to Southern Indiana, and we can play a round together. I haven't played Pete Dye's new course in French Lick, but I hear it is truly an unbelievable course.

Mob is epon doing the copper finish on tour order? I didn't know that option was still available on their irons? Looking forward to seeing pics when finished.
I might start trying to play left handed on the off chance your set makes it to bst.
I'm not sure. I know that it has been done in the past. I believe the dealer/fitter has placed the order. The copper finish is an expensive upgrade, I was told $100/club. I believe very few people end up doing it because of the cost, not because they can't do it. I debated whether to do this or not for a while, but ultimately knew that if I didn't do it, I would think about it every time I look down at the club. Between this upgrade, and the Recoil shafts, this set is going to cost somewhere around $3200. Don't tell my wife, or she may think I have lost my mind.
