  1. I decided to pick up a 6 iron (first gen) on eBay since it was sold as an individual club to compare it to irons I play.  (Miuraism SB-01, modart CBC, onoff 247D, mizuno jpx 919 tour).  I use modus 125 in my blades and project x lz for my cavities, so a lz went into the seven cb.

Feel: I was surprised how good the club felt, I would say it feels soft across the whole face which is kind of like the epon personal 1.  Even though these are cnc like the modart they felt a whole lot softer, not sure if it’s because of the material or the design.  I would say these are second favorite feeling irons all time behind the miuraism on a well struck hit, nothing really compares to the baby blade for me.

    Distance:

The distance of the was also very good and it was quite forgiving across the whole face.  I would say it’s longer than everything I have aside from the miuraism again, however results from mis**ts were much better with the seven cb.

I just wanted to share my experience with the seven cb and was wondering if anyone else plays them or has a set for sale?  I’d be interested in the cb or the new blades.  Does anyone else have anything to share about seven cnc milled clubs?

  2. The crazy 3 wood is very easy to hit off the deck and has a nice feel to it, I rarely use my 3 wood but this one delivers when I need it.  The only bags I use are the Ogio silencers since they actually separate my clubs but holding the grips on the bottom.

  3. So I finally found clubs I am willing to keep around long enough to take pictures of.

    First Bag:

Driver: Epon Zero Kai-Seven Dreamers L-01

    3 Wood: Epon AF-205-Diamana Stinger 70x

    5 Wood: Epon AF-203-Diamana Stinger 70x

    3-PW: Miura Baby Blades-Project X LZ

    Wedges: Modart-Onyx S200

    Putter: Gold's Factory Newport 2-Teramoto

    Second Bag: My normal gamers

    Driver: Jbeam ZY-7-Waccine GR-560 X

    3 Wood: Crazy-Bangvoo 787 X

    4-PW: Miura Small Blades-Modus 125 S

  4. I was lucky enough to receive a 56 from Chris and shafted it up with a modus 3 115 shaft.  I've tried a lot of wedges before and have never found a wedge that really stuck around for a long time but the Seven wedge may have a real good shot.

Versatility:  This wedge is stated at 8 degree bounce but it is amazing out of any type of bunker from fluffy to hard compacted wet sand.  I never hit better bunker shots with any wedge ranging from Toyos, Miuras, Yamahas, Epons and almost any brand you can think of, I do have a set of Modarts I will be receiving shortly to test out.  This wedge is also great out of rough, grooves are non-conforming and I assume that contributes to the extra spin generated out of thick rough.  The grind is great on these wedges as well, I can hit any type of wedge shot with this wedge since it is based off the Vokey M grind.

Feel: These wedges are ridiculously soft, softer than any endo forged wedge.  Sometimes I wish these wedges were a little harder because even mis**ts feel like i hit the sweetspot and I get fooled into thinking I hit a pure shot until I see the result. For feel I would rank these second behind the Toyos, those just have an amazing dense feel on contact, I just couldn't get used to the clunky 58 and never wanted to game that set.

Overall this is an amazing wedge, it allows you to play it from any lie or condition and it has a nice soft feel which is a joy to hit.  If these wedges were slightly firmer I think they would be perfect for me.  I would totally game these wedges.
