  1. I would agree with the previous posters in regards to feel. JDM just feels, sounds better coming off the face. In my case, I've had two JDM drivers, and they were both not only a better feel, but better performance as well. Currently have a Honma TW717, and love it. Prior to that, I had a Romaro HX460 non-conforming.

  2. I bought/played the Honma TW717 460, (from Tour Spec), last season. I'm not sure why I chose that model, other than I really loved the looks.

It's by far the best driver I've played. It's extremely good in every category. From the few looks of the TW727, other than one of the weights being in the back, it looks almost identical.

I can easily endorse the quality of Honma gear. Absolutely first rate.

Anyone ever heard of these guys? They make a non-conforming and conforming model with a monocoque body. The HS788 and HS787.

I think they might be a couple of years old, but can't find any reviews of them. I really like the shape and overall design, but have no idea about the quality.

There does't seem to be a whole lotta' love for Honma on here, or anywhere else for that matter. I purchased this driver from Tour Spec about a month ago. First of all, the level of service from Tour Spec is excellent!! Great communication, and follow-up. Wouldn't hesitate to buy any and all future products through here.

I've played about 4 rounds with this driver now. I've literally hit this club better and better each time out. My last round is when I really started feeling comfortable, and confident with it.

I hate to say this, but I'm hitting this driver about 15-20yds. further. That's further than my non-conforming Romaro HX460. The club looks great, with a beautiful finish. The sounds is super solid, no tinny clank or anything like that.

I think the Vizard shaft contributes greatly to the results I'm getting. I get a mid to mid-high ballflight, and it doesn't seem to spin too much. I'm getting abit of rollout which helps.

I can't see this driver going anywhere anytime soon. Highly recommend, and if anyone has questions, ask away.
