I have this shaft in a Titleist 983K 8.5* head which Joe put together. I purchased it from EBAY from the original owner. I have the "X" short shafted 1/2". It's a great shaft, smooth at impact, and tremendous ball control. The loft however in the driver is now too low, since I have made serious swing changes. I believe that forthe shaft to perform properly, a consistnetly storn move through the ball is mandatory. I now have the Tour Spec 771Ta in a Taylor 510 TP with 10.5*. This shaft is "S" and the only diffenrecne I find is a slightly softer feel at impact. My PCS guy is afraid to remove the shaft from the Titlesit head, as I'd like to get a 9083K 10.5 and resahaft with the same shaft.

I've seen a few on Ebay, or you can open up your wallet and bend over by going to tksputters.com. You'll pay at least $750, if not more but he has everything you ever wanted.
