  1. joe i'd like to try cutting my driver down to 43.5 inches this season and experiment with control vs distance this season - if i do this how could i adjust my shaft setup so i can keep my swingweight at d4-d6 and maintain a true shaft flex. thanks. currently i have a 8.5* 975D with a graphite design ys9.1 but i am in the process of trying to decide on a r510 tp or waiting for 905s or905t
  2. i was wondering if anybody can tell me if you trim a 0.5" from the butt end of an aldila nv - will it get noticably stiffer and how much swingweight am I losing? also can anybody recommend the better fit in a fairway wood between an nv 65 and nv75 regular or stiff for a 95-100mph driver swingspeed with a smooth tempo. if it helps, i usually prefer the softer side of stiff? thanks.
  3. I currently have a Von's putter in the anser style and I am thinking of putting a homemade slit in the sole of the putter a la the ping scottsdale anser to give me some sound feedback. I was wondering if anybody has done this before and what type of powersaw and blade they would recommend using for this. thanks.

great review patrick. i was wondering if you could give me some of the characteristics on your swing (SS, tempo, tendencies on bad swings, etc) and how you came to decide on the Fuji's as your shafts of choice in your driver and 3 wood. did any other shafts compete with the fuji's? thanks
