Value as fallen off that much? I was looking for one about this time last year, and they were going for $100 for ones not in as good a shape as mine. I guess everyone wants a rescue type club now.

I have a SYB MC707 2 iron that I would like to get an approx. value for. It has a Nippon 1050 stiff with a lampkin crossline full cord grip. I have tried all the blue book pricing sites with no luck. The iron is new looking with very little if no sole scratching. It has only hit about 2 dozen balls. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you prep the club any special way? Use wet finishing sand paper, etc? Did the paint go on pretty smooth etc? I dropped my 983K on the cart path an have a few small spots where the paint chiped off. Also had a friend hit a sky rocket with it. Not bad but I can see it at address. I cleaned with Windex, then applied the paint. Once it dried after a couple of hours, I sanded with 320 grit paper (very fine) and then applied several coats of car wax. It worked great! Good luck. I have a little bottle that I got from a golf shop. It has a round brush on the end about the size of a quarter and a little harder and shorter than a medium tooth brush. It has a small hole in the center that allows the water and dishwashing liquid to saturate the brush. It works great.

Those are some great looking irons. If they hit as good as they look, I'll be looking foward to you slipping on a green jacket in April. What kind of shafts and what weights in them did you go with?

That is crazy. I have quality issues with Winn putter grips as well. I put one on my putter, and it started to tear up on the end after a couple of months. I guess from putting into and removing from the bag. I do not have this problem from the $2.50 cord grips on the rest of my clubs.

I am looking for a SYB MC707 utlity club in 18 degrees. This is the one like the Fourteen 858, but a lot cheaper. I do not have a clue as where to find one especially here in the US. Anyone know where I can find one?
