In the course of removing the shaft from the putter head, a torch is used with the result that a kind of darker tone/patch discoloration appears on the top line and hosel. What can I do to restore the original finish? Apart from any cleaner products, is there a home made remedy? Any comments/help greatly appreciated. Thanks
