I was curious to see if Max would be honest through PM but he was not...said his name was Mark. I mean come on these are dead giveaways. Now we will have to endure the I am just trying to sell some things to get the money to pay the ones I owe...blah, blah, blah...I guess if you say it enough it must be true. The PM I sent him asked for references. He said he had no ebay feedback...lie...look up bighitter983k (89.7% feedback). He also said he is new to the site so no references...lie (just look around for people he ripped off). In the end he said he is an honest seller and all items are as described (guess this is a new concept after the Tour R7 fiasco)...lie. My grandfather always said if it looks like a duck....I think you guys can finish this for me.

How can you be sure y cutters are y cutters
I am not sure about TM Y Cutter wedges but the scenario you are speaking of happens. Fake Tour R7, Fake Camerons, the list goes on and on. The only advice I can offer you is know your seller and know that anything you buy online comes with risk. Good luck with your purchase.

King Cobra ForgedSS Tip size
I have a set of king cobra Forged SS irons and I am thinking of switching the shafts to project x. I have to do something to lower the ball flight. I am an aggressive swinger of the club and I have been using s300...should I go 5.5 6.0 or 6.5. Are the cobras Taper or Parallel? Thanks for any help.

Alcap26 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearMore of a budget ho...can't afford the exotic stuff like the gauge irons or some of those beautiful custom mizuno irons but by selling your old set of 300 and the three wood along with the eld**k putter and these only being 325.00 I had to give them a try after demoing the 6 iron this past weekend. I am thinking of doing 3/4 inch long and the lie angle progression of 2,4-5 at 2 up, 6-8 at 1 up and 9-lw at std. I will have to get my scratch and JoeK wedge bent. I noticed something though...I have been on this site for over a year and had the same driver since about the first week on here. and now I am back tot he putter I had before I ever even knew golf forums exisited. I'm with these irons for the long haul and if I need to have something to look at I always have my 300 as a backup set. and if memory serves me right didn't you sell the set of irons you are using now and then you have ended up with them back in you bag....hmmm...do I smell a ho....I think I do :smile2:

Alcap26 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI pose a question that I think i already know the answer for. When you get a new set of irons that are std specs and you need them adjusted length and lie wise do you A)play them because you cannot resist the temptation or B) wait until you get the work done? Now don't say you just work on them yourself and then play because some of us do not have that ability...me. The reason I ask is because I just got a new set in the mail. Brand Spanking new set of King Cobra Forged SS irons. I took the pw outside and hit some thirty yard pitches with it and they feel softer than my TM 300 irons and they look more forgiving with the same amount of offset. They look great and I am wanting to put them in for tomorrows round but should I stick with the 300 even though I have been questioning the specs, Oh well....I may just go ahead and take them out for the round...we will see.

FS TM300 3-pw rifle 6.0 SOLD
I have for sale a set of TM 300 3-pw with the paintfill removed. The clubs currently have Rifle Flighted 6.0 with the wooden dowel treatment in the shafts. Grips are Lamkin crossline black. The clubs measure .5 inches long in the 6-pw and .25 inches long in the 3-5. All clubs are standard lie. The s300 are the original shafts and are at standard length if they are installed with TM logoed tour velvets. I have pics of each iron's sole, face, and back and will be more than happy to send them to you. The clubs have no gouges or severe ding...just slight bag chatter. These are really clean irons. I am not looking for trades just selling this set. Price is 300.00 shipped. PM me with your email address for the pics and I have references aval. on this site of people I have bought from and sold to. Thank you for your time and interest in these clubs. Everything I sale has a money back guarantee if you are not satisified with the irons upon reciept. I prefer paypal. Alan

Alcap26 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearSaw I too saw the Wilson's and am looking forward to seeing them in person. I am glad to see them going back to their roots...I wonder what the driver will be like. Got the mail today and I recieved two HX Tour balls. I signed up for the free two balls for sending a prov1 in but never got around to sending it in and I still got them. Early christmas present I guess.

Alcap26 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI understand the fairway woods. I too could not hit them off the deck and I seemed to hook them quite a bit. I know have a sonartec ss02 and let me tell you this thing is a cannon and for me easy to hit off of the deck. I just wish i would have tried one of these earlier. I always thought I had to have steel in the 3wd and the sonars only come with graphite so i stayed away. Now I think to myself...what a dumbass. If it stays in the bag for 6 months then that is quite a long time for a 3 wood for me in the past 3 years. I can't remember how many I have tried. I bought a rain suit last year with the friends and family discount at golfsmith that got leaked on the net. I think it was like 270 regular and I got it for 150. Not too shabby.

Alcap26 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearWell I have been neglecting the thread so I thought I would check in. Didn't want a search party having to look for Pete and me both. I have been extremely busy with just life in general. Haven't played golf in about a month. I still haven't taken the new set of 300 to the course for a round. I have decided I am going to bend the mid irons to 1 degree up and the short irons and all wedges to standard lie. We will see how this works. Hopefully life will slow down a bit and I can play but I just have not missed it that much. The old monza is out of the bag and the older SC PP laguna 2 is back in. Trying to shorten my backswing and felt the monza helped me get sloppy with the putter. Oh well theory is good and all but we will see what comes on the course. Mike: Glad you are in the high speed world. AK: How are the Z's? Still loving them? Cmike: Good luck with the hockey. Shoe: Get to feeling better soon. Hipcheck: Get us another FFD03 to pillage golfsmith again this year....I wonder if ffd04 will work? Pete: Good luck with school. Guys I will post again soon.

Brazil F1
Alcap26 replied to Mike's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearOkay...my take on the F1/Nascar debate. They cant compare. No car that runs on any Nextel Cup race is even remotely as technical as an F1 car. Nascar is trying to market itself as the "family" sport rather than let their drivers show some personality. F1 drivers are similar in popularity to our Pro football players in the USA...Michael Schumacher up until a couple of years ago was the worlds highest paid athlete. Are they truly sports? Well both series drivers have to be in damn good shape to drive but the nod goes to the F1 drivers due to the gforces they have to endure. I feel I can make this next statement based on facts and not opinions. NASCAR in the 1960's was not always ran as the fairest sport. My grandfather had a two car team that ran in the mid and late 60's and he ran pontiacs after his first season in Fords. He was told by certain manufacturers that if a certain driver like Fireball Roberts, Junior Johnson, or Richard Petty were on the lead lap and competitive then my grandfathers cars were not to finish ahead of them or they would not get their full money. That is why he ran pontiacs. I say this because it would be nice to really know what is being said now with the sport more popular than it has ever been. I can guarntee Chevy has some behind the scenes deal with their Chase for the cup contendors. At least F1 is more honest about team orders. You may not believe me that's fine. Now I was raised a NASCAR fan but I lost interest when Alan Kulwicki and Davey Allison died. I still watch Bristol which is just up the road , Charolette, Atlanta, and Darlington because it takes talent to drive these. I do not watch Daytona or Talledega because it is not racing it is way to dangerous and the drivers cannot get away from one another. To win at Daytona or Talledega you just have to be in the right line at the right moment to get the right push. I liked Daytona and Talledega before restrictor plates. I started watching F1 when the first F1 game came out for the PS One and have been a fan ever since. I just think NASCAR is being a little fake right now with the wholesome good ole boy image it is trying to display. you know this is true if you have ever listened with a scanner to Rusty Wallace during a race. Talk about some F bombs. I will watch Atlanta this weekend because it is a drivers track. I like both just wish NASCAR would be a little more honest about what goes on behind the scenes.....whew nuff said
