EMS just delivered the second gen I-33 today. Putted 15 balls on the mat... Very nice solid feel but at 365(?) grams head weight, it's the heaviest head I have and it feels that way. The stock shimada 120 stepless shaft gives good enough feedback so I don't think I'll put in the spare ns pro XXIP-A2 shaft I had on standby but I will need to put on the Iomic Absolute X grip and add some counterbalance. Haven't checked the specs yet as well but although so late to this party, am glad I finally got it.

It's an anser which is all I collect. The modding... Yup... Been giving T a bit of angst over this lol

Hmm ... This is different from T's experience I think which is the opposite but just a tad as well.

I think that's the best conclusion Duff. Didn't know you have the D as well. Is the ball flight really slight higher than the S loft for loft and shaft for shaft?

A dumb question probably but is the GF Newport II GSS Replica really a GSS? If not just SUS303 or? Who made this head for GF? Kitada? Also, what was the list for this back then? A friend is looking to sell me his so just need to clarify the above. Thanks.

Duff, the foaming, hot melt, rat glue thing… I don't think you can get the stuff out totally after its done so be sure you want to do it. Also, foaming I think fills the whole head. What its effect on CG, sweet spot, I don't know. Hot melt and rat glue similar concerns as foam in that you can't control fully where it settles in the head. You sure all your 3 weights are fully tightened? Sometimes there is a different sound if the weights aren't tightened as it should be. It was that way with my Maxima.

With some hesitation, I am thinking of selling my RomaRo H irons 4-PW heads only. These are the ones with the star. Paintfill have been removed. These are usually sold as a six iron 5-PW set but mine includes a 4I for a total of 7 heads. I am playing well with my Crazy protos and my spare bag is struggling for space with 3 to 4 more putters coming in this month. $0LD shipped airpost with track and paypaled heads only. I've shafted the Tornado 7 19 with the MCH 70 shaft and am waiting for another MCH 70 for the 60. Ball flight for this is a very nice mid flight for me with the MCH. I would say EG slightly more forgiving but not by much. Distance about the same. High pitch ting and metallic feel… so different to the EGG. The V-sole or whatever they call it… I thought it'd be less forgiving but it gives versatility and its great for ball above/below feet lies. Can;t wait for the other MCH shaft to go into the 16*! The big big thing over the EGG I+ for ME…. I could pull hook the EGG (bear in mind the same shaft and I'm more of a fader)… have yet to do that with the Tornado 7 and long may it stay that way. The face - Super Hyten…. old tech but still good tech…. hot face.

Lol. Christmas came early and goes to show if it works, it works regardless of price or brand.

Jeff, coming from you… gets my curiosity going. What shaft are you playing in it and can you give reference to which club combo you find it longer and more forgiving as a guide? Thanks.

Thanks. Yup, all putters are from scratch from a billet. Tom's been really busy but is halfway through my putter. Hope to receive it before Christmas. It's been a long wait for this one.
