Yup. I saw and held (not hit unfortunately) KP-X in Bangkok Kamui shop and even they said suits harder, faster and more aggressive hitters which is why I ruled that out for me as I have a slower swing speed and am more of a swinger. But yes, bad ass and really deep face. Is the face of the TP07S as deep?

Thanks for chiming in. I believe your Jbeam reference is the 425 Tour which I have not hit. How does the 425 Tour compare to the 435 loft for loft as a guide? Also, you mention the Romaro gets up a little more... you referring to the 435LX or the 460HX Black? Thanks again.

So in your dad's case, again somewhat different from yours in that his higher lofted (closer to 12*) launched even lower than teh Epon HT 1* assuming that is true loft as Epon claims it to be.

Kamui TP07S now being considered as well. Any other suggestions?

I really don't know with my swing speed is but if I have to guess I would say about 43 m/s or 96mph. I read via the bad traslation on some japanese blog some fitter played it with a FEX 65SR and said (I think) the=at he would select a higher loft for the TP07 so his experience was really differebt form yours. COuld be the shaft as you say. I've emailed Kamui and Romaro asking for loft advice for their heads based on my experience with the JBeam 435 10.5. Hopefully they will respond.

It appears so. I'm inclined to get crazy 435 for the black widow project but am also thinking trying the tp07 will be new and perhaps a more fun. Trying to google to find out more as the high launch description you gave has me worried as I have no trouble getting it up... In both senses lol

Man, you really push out your stuff for winter but can;t say I blame you, I sent a year and a half in WI and when it snows there, boy does it snow! These are the sweetest looking irons for me since the Technica Pro Is and I must say I am tempted but I just picked up another set of Pro Is not too long ago... sigh... GLWS!

Nope. Mine weights were stock from Jbeam. If I found JBeam 435 10.5* a tad high, what do you reckon will launch say 0.5% lower for Romaro 435LX and Kamui Pro TP07? The same FEX55 shaft that was in the Jbeam 435 will be going into the final decided head.

Thanks T, When you say like the Crazy 435, the Romaro 435LX is very penetrating and low spin so you would say a Crazy 435 10.5* = Romaro 435LX 10* or would the Romaro be slightky lower as it is 0.5* less in loft?

Was the fading due perhaps to an open face for the TP? How would you compare the loft of the TP07 to the 435, D1 ad AF101 as a guide? What loft would a TP07 9* be equivalent to for the other 3 drivers? Thanks

Thanks C. I'm trying to get a sense of the launch for this. Have you played the AF101? If yes, what loft in the AF 101 wuld you say is equivalent to your TP-07S 9*? Also, the TP07 is conforming?

If you have and are comfortable with the LY01 weight, I'd suggest to your stick with the 55.

C, You've had the Ryoma before. Which model was yours? And more importantly, what loft in the TP7 do you reckon plays like the Ryoma 9.5 or 10.5* loft?

No issues here. I am after all looking for alternatives for Black Widow :-) So C, was the TP7 longer than the 435 on every hole and how much longer? 5/10/15 meters?

Assuming it is indeed an intended upcoming Ryoma model. It could go both ways I think as in the past, I have seen proto heads before they were officially launched.

Am looking for a driver head for me Black Widow project : And am considering the Romaro 435LX which I can;t demo. For those wh have hit this head, have you also tried the JBeam/Crazy 435? If you have, feedback on the following will be much appreciated: 1. Trajectory : Loft and loft and assuming shaft is the same, which launch higher/lower and was the difference significant as in maybe the 435 in 9* played like the Jbeam in 10.5* for example. 2. Spin/Roll : Which spins/rolls more? 3. Distance : Which won in terms of carry, roll and overall distance? 4. Forgiveness : Which was more forgiving? 5. Feel : I know this is subjective but which face felt harder? 6. Sound : Which was louder, higher pitch or more muted? Thanks in advance.

You know of someone who's tried this already? If yes, I don;t think its form Ryoma or at least not intentionally....
