  1. Tried reshafting the 52* to a NSPro 950 shaft yesterday but abandoned that. The head weioght is extremely light and will have required a lot of tip weight which I am not a fan of. Left the teh DGSL 300 that came with the 60 which I hit at the range prior a few times and which felt quite good.
  2. Thanks guys. Good to know.
  3. I'm having trouble with photobucket and can;t seem to upload here as well. Its a raw miura wedge which has "genuine" on the hosel. I've been out of golf a while so I have not kept up with stuff but it seems weird for "genuine" to be on the hosel. The skeptic in me tells me anything that goes out of the way to claim its genuine just may not be LOL. So is this a real miura product? A USA Miura product? No issues if its not as I got it from a used shop while in twon today and thought might as well give it a shot. Thanks for any help despite the lack of pics.
  4. I actually prefer the copper X-wedge to the black Techinity wedge. Not sure if I got the mmodel names correct but the copper just feels softer and better to me. You wouldn;t happen to have a Copper X-wedge in 60* to get rid of would you? :-)
  5. I'm not a connoiseur by any means but I take pleasure in single malts. The Yamazaki 18 is very nice but not to evryone's taste. My favorite casual malt is probbaly the Glenfiddich 14 yr. I also do like, although not a sinle malt and is a blend, the Johnny Walker Blue label. That is one smooth baby.
  6. I've had them for quite a few years Spoon and they have been my only set as well. In fact, if I recall, on my shores, I was one of the early adopters of Epon. Still playing them as for me, I do not beolive one iron fromt he next, loftg being equal, is going to make too much difference if at all once it is setup for you. We're not talking baby muscle backs to large cavity back now :-) The Technity wedges are great. Feel wise, I do prefer the copper Xx-wedge to the Technity Black wedge. IN fact, I'm trying to find a copper 60* X-wedge. You know of any one selling it? Not fussed abotu condition just that the grooves still have to be decent.
  7. Thought I'd post a pic of my much older copper Pro-Is to show a comparo :-)... ok, I can;t figure out the attachment function... not sure why it came out "wide screened" :-)

As cool as they look, it would be a great sin not to game them.

    Wow! Go all black man!
  10. thanks for chiming in so quickly. I am not sure about the MD series. Thoose whom I know that have played it say it is fairly high spin as well. I think GD positions the MD that way as well. I my off the tee with the FW literally has no run even on dry fairway (we don;t have inksy hard fairways in my neck of the woods). Again, its swing related I admit so I just want to manage that a bit while acknowledging I just don;t have the commitment to change the swing being a very very social golfer now.
  11. I'm playing a Tour AD SF shaft now but I find I am getting way too much spin. It's defintiely due to my amateur swing but as I am prepared to live with my swing, I am thinking of the DI as a replacement as that is lower spin to help with this. The DI is also working well enough in my AF 101. Anyone tried the SF and DI in their 3Ws? Feedback appreciated and thanks in advance.
  12. Fully. The shaft maketh the difference. Loft for loft, you;re not going to get any more out of 1 iron head to the next. More forgiveness yes but not much more I suspect. Still on my old Epon Technity Pro-Is. I could probably use more forgiveness but what the heck, they are a great set of irons.
  13. I was on the CB1, then CB2 and now the XCG-3 which is not the latest. Don;t think each upgrade gave me the 20 yards more that TE proclaimed however LOL. I think for each model, they do have a 4W 16.5*. Give them a shot.
  14. Hi, While I am big on JDM stuff, I find that for FWs, the Tour Edge Exotics are hard to beat. Just put a good JDM shaft that suits you.
  15. Pls drop me a PM if you have these. Not really fussed about condition but grooves still need to have life in them. Thanks for looking.

  22. Just wonderng if there are any differences in flex, bend and tip properties between the EV-6 and SF-6. Looking at one of these for a 3W and the EV-6 wil be tipped 0.5 inch as per GD's instructions. Thanks.
  23. Both in stiff flex and both untipped. For the SF-6, raw length of at least 42 and for UT-65, raw length of at least 40. Thanks for looking.
