EMB Reshaft
Thanks! Tell me about it. The courses I play have pretty heavily watered fairways and don't necessarily drain well. What about the older Axiv 5564M. I had this in an older driver and loved the feel. Thinking about experimenting with this in the EMB. Chris or Gocchin? Any thoughts on this?

EMB Reshaft
Ok guys, trying to find a reshaft for the stock EMB shaft. Currently using the SR in a 10.5 head and looking for something with less spin. 98-102 mph clubhead speed with medium/smooth transition. I play on fairly wet fairways and humid climates. In some cases, the ball actually lands several feet behind the ball mark! So looking for medium/high launch, lower spin. Maybe Xcon 5 or Bassara Falcon. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Mizuno JPX E500s vs Epon AF-501s
I went with the Mizzys. First set of Mizzys and had to give them a go. Not a fan of the stock NS High Trajectory shafts though. Otherwise, great feel and distance.

Mizuno JPX E500 any reviews?
I'm still rocking these. Have not played the MX 23s but switched from X18s. Not the easiest clubs in the world to hit but stronger lofts result in more boring trajectory and additional yardage (about 1 club per iron). As Chris said in another post, I would be careful about stock NS shafts.

The choice Ball for Long Drivers in Japan
Gochin, Great info as usual. How would you describe the feel of the 352S. I've used Mizuno balls (cross-8) before and found them rather harsh with not much feel around the greens Thanks!

TSG BEST OF 2008 CONTEST!
Best JDM Driver in 2008 - EPON EMB - although the 08 OnOFF Plus comes pretty darn close IMHO. Best JDM Iron of 2008 - I switched to Mizuno E500s and have not been disappointed. Stronger lofts add 5 extra yards for me. Pured shots are like butter. Only dislike is not too big of a fan of the NS HT shafts. Best JDM Wedge of 2008 - Fourteen MT-28 V4. Best JDM Shaft of 2008 - XCON - 5. By far. Best Course you played on in 2008 - Riviera Country Club. Lives up to all the hype, although I wasn't a fan of the Kikuyu rough. Definitely a personal top-5. Best shot you made in 2008 - 35 footer, double breaker on the last hole of my weekly skins game two weeks ago. All presses called and claimed..by me. Best Pro player in 2008 - tough call between El Tigre and Paddy. I'll go with Paddy.

Mizuno JPX E500s vs Epon AF-501s
Ok guys. Trying to decide between the two. Tried hitting both with Nippons - JPXs have more distance and 501s have more control and slightly softer feel. Also, slightly lower ball flight with the JPXs which I didn't expect given the HT Nippons on them. I know E600s are coming out in Dec but I can get a pretty good deal on the 500s. Thoughts?

A Peak at some new ONOFF
Did they fix the issue with the hosel on these things? Previous model were a royal pain to change shafts.

Live Mizuno 2009 MP Craft Driver Pics
What's the significance of the "lie angle" markings on the sole Gocchin? Also what's the diff between the two heads?

New Mamiya Axiv Shaft
Whoa. For that kind of coin, I expect an additional 35 yards and the dispersion of a steel shaft....

Epon Shaft Length
Many thanks. That seems to make sense. I'm guessing the 46 inch isn't too unwieldy for you or affects your ability to hit the center of the clubface? Just not used to using a club with such an upright lie angle.

Epon Shaft Length
Guys, Any issues with the lie angle? I saw on the website that this was 62*(!). I'm the same height as you guys (5'6). I'm pretty intrigued by this driver and was wondering if this was an issue. Also, does anyone know the SW on the 46 inch? Thanks!

Callaway Hyper ERC Balls
I've tried these. Mid spin and ball flight. I did not find the distance on these balls to be that impressive. FWIW, I currently play the Tourstage X-01s which I find a bit softer with better spin around the greens.
