  3. why would the sets with Modus have a 37.5 inch 5i and 37.75 on sets with NSPros? thanks Tario
  4. Tour 425 is a great feeling/sounding driver and just as long as the 435. I found it more forgiving than the 435 but that may have been due to the 425 face angle being square not open.
  5. I have not played the 301s but Pete probably has
  6. No sir...partial to my old Y cutters
  7. The vg3s are more forgiving but not by a huge margin.
  8. I had to buy a set solely based on how they looked. I received them a couple weeks ago(5-PW Ray H and a Ray V 4i all with DG S200) and with unseasonably warm weather here in Wisconsin was able to get 5 rounds in over the last 7 days. I have played the orginal Vg3s for 18 months and have tried several sets over that time period but none were able to replace the Vgs...Miura CB1007, Tourstage 901s, Scratch SB1s; Miura 501s to name a few My expectations were they would feel great but the forgiveness factor would drop off greatly vs the Titleist and due to the strong VG3 lofts I expected to have to take an extra club. The honeymoon round is always great it seems but was still surprised by the ease the Hs performed in terms of forgiveness and the distance. I took the same clubs I would with the Vg3s and the distance was similar. The 4th round was a money match and they held up wonderfully(lost money but that was due to giving up too many damn strokes to the bandits I play with) They frame the ball beautifully. Shockingly forgiving. Great turf interaction. Mediocre swings produce playable shots. Solid swings are grandly rewarded. Feel is crisp but not clicky. All the workability you would want or need. Had never played s200s and very impressed...no reshaft will be needed. Vg3s sold over the weekend which is the biggest surprise to me and my buddies but just love the Hs and unlike most of you I only keep one set(deal with my wife).
  9. My 6 has a little line under it
  10. These were sold to a great member(baddmnkey) and were shipped back to me as the 5i has a very, very slight bend...not visible but if you roll it on the floor it has a little wobble where the others roll true. I put it in a head and you cannot see anything out of the ordinary. I hot toweled it and it improved the wobble but not 100%. They are untrimmed though two shafts are tip prepped. .355 tip Taking $100 off the price $279 gifted shipped in the USA/Outside USA add $40--NO RETURNS Thanks TSG Sold
