thanks guys, i will probably work out 4-5 times a week when i get back home from college. I just can't take it, one of my friends who is 5'4" is hitting it the same as me, when i know for sure that i can hit it further than i am now. Thanks A lot

Here's the deal. Im 18, have been playing golf for 2 3/4 years, and i am a 7 handicap. I used to work out regularly for baseball, and as a result i could hit the ball a long way, i used to carry my driver 295, ss of 120. But i haven't worked out in a year and last fall and this spring i have lost 10 yards on my irons and about 20 on my drives. My question is, if i begin working out now, how long would it take to see results? Thanks. Kurt

actually, tiger really isn't pushing his drives right anymore, most of the time he tries to hit a big sweeping draw and the ball just simply doesn't draw, or he aims right and runs out of fairway.

i have used vj's drill and it does work quite well, there is very little room for error though, so depending on your skill level you might want to move the water bottle out a little. I used that drill 3 times a week last summer, and it improved my ball striking a lot. another nice thing about it is that it narrows down your errant ball flight to 1 factor, and that is clubface angle.

can someone please reccommed a shaft for my tour ignite? I currently have an aldila nv 65s and i do not like the feel, I was thinking of something in the 75-<75 gram range. thank you

i currently play nike forged blades with s 400 shafts. The problem i tend to hook them about 10 yards, in which i have to really open my shoulders at impact to counter act, and i was wondering if i should get the x 100s in order to straighten my ball flight out. I'm not sure about my 5 iron ss, but my 5 iron goes 205 and my 7 goes 175, would the change cost me much distance or would it stay pretty close to the same. thank you kurt

i'm not casting, when i watch my swing on video, my lag and release are good, it's just that on my downswing, my head is even with the ball at impact, rather than behind it.

does anyone have any drills/suggestions for staying behind the ball at impact. i just taped my swing and noticed that my head and body are sliding towards the target, resulting in a delofted clubface and very low shots. thank you kurt

i am considering buying an r7 TP but i am not sure about what loft to buy. I currently have a ignite 410 8.5* with a pro launch 65 s. and i hit it very low. my swing speed is about 110-115. I was thinking about a 9.5, but taylormade reccomended a 10.5* what do you guys think? thank you kurt

i have found that cast clubs give more of a "click" sound and feel. Forged clubs have a softer sound and kind of a mushy feel like the ball stays on the club longer. At least that is just for me.
