Has anyone had the chance to try the Geotech prototype cnc forged irons yet? They look very clean and have that hiro masumoto look to them. any idea where these are forged?

these have a very very similar look to the new cnc forged heads from geotech. how close are they?

thanks stevopar. i think a couple months ago someone here bought a set with identical shafts, etc for a little over 200. i've seen heads alone go for around 135-150, but not in awhile. i've actually just found and getting a set of maltby m05 forged irons(with shafts) for only 60 bucks. i've hit these before and they are actually great. they've got a very good forged soft feel and have forgiveness, and better yet, have a thin topline. i'll be very happy with them. i may end up selling some tourstage viq forged and gauge cavity backs.

i am wanting any reviews of the geotech B stream proto driver. what i'm looking for is a comparable alternative to the titleist 909d3 or the Adams 9015d(a4tech). any comments welcome. thanks

i'm interested in the crews 460 driver. i see they've gone on sale but now the 9.5 is out. for those that apparently are getting this driver, any reviews on it? it's touted as very nice on another site. if i were to go for the 10.5, does it hit lower than most 10.5's? thanks

my wrist to floor is 33 inches. clubs are built off a 37.75 5 iron. yes, it is an odd feeling of the starting a lawn mower with the right hand/arm. i try the connection drill and nothing falls out.

hopefully it will warm up a bit friday and i'll hit some balls. i'm going to work with a slightly weaker left hand grip as well as trying to take the club back a little straighter rather than going in too quick.

two clubs i'd like to see the differences are would be the on/off plus and the tourstage gr-c1. i can't get much from this translation, so you could sum up the differences a bit? thanks

actually clubs are prob a tad too upright and could go flat if anything. grips are fine. my grip is very neutral. i think if i weakened it it would cause over-rotating. i think i may be stopping my pivot and hands are releasing/flipping into the ball. just not sure how to fix it or keep my body to rotate through. hmmmm.

I still have a problem of a pull-draw. my ball contact is fine, but shots either start at the pin or left, and then draw left. not a huge hook, but a sweeping draw. what are some causes and fixes? i don't think i'm really coming over the top, but prob a bit underplane as my divots(when i do make one) go out to the right a bit. i would think my clubface is closing as i get at impact, so looking for the fix. thanks

so basically just a semi soft wheel, but what compound did you use?

is there a special buffing wheel you need? i've heard people do something similar with a variety of scotchbrite pads but it is very time consuming. how long would you say using a wheel each club takes, and can you do this with the club assembled? thanks for the help

chris: do you have any before and after pics of some models you have done this to? will this work on a chromed forged club as well?
