  1. No offense to anyone, but I'm not a big Disney/Orlando fan...very touristy and Disney golf courses are a bit Mickey Mouse, if you will. Tampa a bit on the sleazy side...lots of strip clubs and some golf on the side. If you want a bit higher end, I would suggest either West Palm Beach or for just plain great nightlife and great golf, look at Miami Beach.
  2. You will love em...guaranteed
  3. A very fair price I might add...but would you consider $500... Just kidding
  4. Then again, I've learned that a 26 handicapper can hit it one day 180 and the next day the swing is just a tad more connected and hits it 230, so not totally the art of the impossible. Would still love to see some before and after launch monitor stats, otherwise could be keen competition for THE HAMMER!!
  5. Belongs on the WRX thread where everyone who posts there hits it at least 310. I know this not to be the case, because I can only hit it 305
  6. STUPID CHEAP for a stunning set!!! I wish I could roll back the clock because I spent well over $2K for the NON copper version. Love these

Put those cotton balls in your ears and just get used to the sound of longer distance:)
  8. No. Just stuck with my km350 for now based on the fact that it's freezing in NY and my 350 has yet to touch and actual green! Until I can determine if it works for me or not, will resist buying another putter. A bit less exciting, but did buy an official Miura putter grip based on the fact that when I bought the putter it had an Iomic grip on it. 9. Very nice indeed...my only negative would be the back of the club is a bit busy with logos and such.

From what I've seen, general rule of thumb would be half of what you originally paid. Of course depends upon condition and age of the clubs, but that appears to be fair market value for used JDM gear.

    Stunning

I would personally leave it alone...easier to get used to the sound, which from my view is not anything so terrible, vs trying to add any material to the head

Funny stuff...guy asks for info like he has an interest, you oblige and the guy says "thanks"! Not sure I get that one.

    Just a survey question??
  15. My favorite shaft time and time again are Aerotechs...pure brilliance. The accuracy of an iron shaft with all the benefits of graphite. I've tried just about everything out there and each time find that nothing beats the Aerotechs
  16. I'm loving the density of the head on the 350. A must for me is that there is ZERO wobble when I pull back the trigger, which is why I went to mallets way back when with a bit more weight and feel when going back. This thing is so tiny but because that little head is so heavy, pulls back like a champ.
  17. I think the Ryoma head feels "muted" at impact...but have also learned that some people refer to the sound as "soft." It is definitely taking some getting used to after hitting my tin can Sasquatch
  18. Let me know what you guys think of this Miura km007...both in terms of price and the putter itself. As most of you know, I picked up a 350 a few days ago and would like to play with both to see which is a keeper. Thus far really like the weight and feel of the 350...it's a freakin piece of art:) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190613702730&category=115280&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_500wt_689
  19. Haha! If it was too stiff for you bro at 106 ss, then a complete board for me with a 96ss:) I had been using a Proforce V2 with my Nike Sasquatch head...that shaft is stiff, 66 grams, butt of 267 w mid stiffness of 7.0...unsure how this compares to my 7.2 Crazy, but always felt very good to me. The jury is still out for me in terms of distance on the driver, but it is straight. I am being patient with waiting for real live conditions on the course vs my local range w a trakman to determine.
  20. New putter FINALLY arrived today...2 day express service turns into one week! That being said, the putter looks brand new and feels great at impact. The only frustration is only being able to hit putts on my living room carpet vs a real green complements of crwp NY weather. Also considering picking up a Miura KM 007 just to see how the two compare. Anyone out there with a compare and contrast on the two other than one being more mallet like and the other more blade like? Also, what's fair market price for an 007?
  21. Not sure why, but Sizemore seem to be going for no money...here's one recently that sold for $9.99!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/SiZEMORE-GOLF-Investment-Cast-LUX-LB-1-long-Neck-Blade-Putter-Milled-Face-/230712240618?pt=Golf_Clubs&hash=item35b78569ea#ht_720wt_689

Robb: I also recall that nutty $27K fitting and I think was the beginning of the end for BSG. Pure greed.
  23. Welcome to the dark side! I wanted to go with black on my 502's and the only thing that kept me away from black was the need to maintain them a bit with keeping them dry and oiling occasionally. But great looking clubs...congrats!
