  1. wow... talk about a gang bang... good luck pops... glad I got one already
  2. with the potential to drop...as the release dates are a coming.... ... uh, $1500, unless of course, you offered it for sale on one of these boards in which case you'll likely get 1750 from a hungry buyer... Johnny's right though... if the retail gets released or the FT-3 goes in more tour bags, price will drop like a rock-- look at Callaway preowned and you can get tour issued pre-FT2 Cally drivers all day long for about 200...
  3. One of the highest ballspeeds off this head.... but it does play about half degree lower for me than usual, IMO ... so you may want go up in loft a tad.
  4. For me the decision to foam was easy--- I like a persimmon type feel.... the TM heads in the R-7 were way too tingy... moving more weight into the face settings helps (6 gram weights minimum), but still too tingy for me... Some like the ringing sound as it feels hotter... to each his own... Foaming by an expert works great... nice thwacky feel, adds about 10-12 grams of weight... lowers the flight maybe half a degree. If you like the thwack then get foamed....
  5. The biggest % of it is FEEL IMO, Smaller % is you gonna lower your ball flight. It's more of twack than ting ! It will increase the weight for 400cc driver about 11-13 grams. A lot of them do it w/ cotton ball also, but the sound of foam is more twack ( muter ), but yet cotton ball is only increase around 6 grams at the most if i'm not wrong. So for someone who loves the old pessimon feel, foam is the closest IMO. Joe  YUP
  6. Thanks for the beauty pageant... and thanks for dissing my club  ... now get back to work and get that thing specked out, so I can put it back in my bag :smile2: Its a great head for someone who needs higher spin... but it is LOUD, hence the foam job...

On looks alone: Yeah, the J340 was king... then along came the Maru Model... and now the Traditional... go to Traditionalgolf.com and check it out ... its a 1950s MacGregor 945, in a 360cc titanium head -- you can even customize the soleplate-- sweepback or butterfly-- and can design it exactly the way you want it-- right down to the bulge and roll...WOW
  8. If you have serious game and money, get a tour issue (properly fitted) there is a difference... lacking either, retail works very well. Anything else is just an expensive hobby...
