there is def. a paint break on that v steel...and say, while your in this thread..what are your thoughts on the tour concept shaft...I play s300 in my cg1's and cg10's...and have a pretty high trajectory which I love in my long irons but tends to get knocked down pretty easy in shorter irons...think the tour concepts might change things? Also, do you feel like you are standing over a graphite shafted iron...kinda looks that way from pics I have seen. Thanks. Good luck this season...maybe I'll run into you at a few events on the NWT. WTB Taylormade r7 TP - 9.5 Mitusishi X-flex new or slightly used thanks

Just wondering if anyone has played both the Mitsubishi Rayon that Taylormade offers as a custom shaft option on normal r7s and 500 series...not the Hank Kuehne...versus the Rayon shaft that they offer for the TP. I know the spec differences but wondering how different they play/quality or are they pretty much the same shaft. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Jboy...just got another postive confirmation from Taylormade that all r7's are sp-700 which certainly makes sense after reading your post.

Just doing some research I have found that there doesn't seem to be a difference in the titanium...Bladeceo....do you know this for sure? I spoke with TM and they confirmed that there was no difference...but who knows what they tell the truth on. Just trying to weigh my options to go or not to go to the TP. If I felt like the face was a little hotter or even stronger for that matter I think I would go for it. Please let me know. Thanks
