if you are a league member and you know you wont be able to make it, you should register for the tourney anyway. it wont hurt anyone to occupy a seat and not play. that way you will be counted and we wont run into the same problem we had last week. thanks to agg for getting us a second shot at this!

surprising turnout. to think with all the admitted club hos on this site we couldn't get 15 people who wanted to play for a free putter... :sad:

it's also worth mentioning that the poker site offers a deposit bonus. in addition, i was eligible for their "first time depositor" free tourney, with a prize pool of $1000.

wow, that is a killer prize! a buddy of mine plays gaf1s, and they are the sickest fw's i have ever hit. i'd like nothing more than to produce that thing next time i play a round and tease him that mine cost $0. now i am torn between telling everyone i know to sign up, or keeping quiet so i have the best chance of winning it... :wink: seriously, hope to see more people get involved. good fun for all!

thanks for the info about there not being a comparable super ss 4wd in 16*, i didnt even think to check if there was one or not. as far as the face angle is concerned, i know that the pro is supposed to be square and the ss slightly closed, but i honestly cant even tell. i have a hard time distinguishing a degree closed/open. i just think the lettering in "PRO"looks peculiar as it is not quite the same font as the Super SS, and the 'R' is slightly raised. It really looks as though it was added after the fact!

I just picked up a 16* RC BBD 4wood on fleabay, and noticed the "PRO" after Super S.S. doesn't look quite right. It does not follow a clean line with the other letters, the letter shapes aren't consistent, and looks like it was ground in almost as an afterthought. My question is, does the "PRO" on your clubs look this way, too, and is this normal? Any replies appreciated.
