Per the myostrichgolf.com website there is about a 3 inch parallel tip and you can trim up to 1 inch to make it play like an X flex. Because they won't give accurate frequency meter readings I guess its becomes a question of feel.

I am thinking of reshafting my Nak NP-1 with Apollo Hump shafts. Does anyone have any clubfitting experience with these shafts? Also, is it worth the expense of "blueprinting" these shafts? I am told that putting them on a frequency meter is useless because of the Hump - the reading will not be accurate. Appearantly, it acts almost like two seperate shafts - the main shaft has its own traits but then the tip has its own characteristics. The tip is supposed to be very stable and that is why it seems to play stiffer than it was designed to play. I am thinking of trying do a reshaft on my own becuase I will be experimenting w/ different tippings on these shafts to get my ideal flex. I am told that the shaft is butt trim only. So it does not seem to require a high level of expertise in club install. Or am I way off base?
