Mike, Without knowing the head weights and how the shaft were tipped (if at all), it is impossible to tell how the shafts will play. The heavier the heads, the softer the shafts will play. A typical steel shaft length for a #5 wood that weighs 228 grams is 41". With graphite that becomes 42". For the #7 that weighs 238, the length is 40" and 41" respectively. For every @5 grams your heads differ from these, adjust the length 1/2". Also, the more the shafts were tipped, the stiffer they will play. Each 1/2" of tipping over what is recommended will cause a cpm increase of @3 in most shafts. While this may not always apply, it is a good place to start. Jeff

Landshark, In all honesty, there are very few players who can tell the difference. Even if the club sare set up exactly the same - same specs, shafts, grips, etc. - if a player didn't know wheich was which, he wouldn't be able to tell. Blind tests with pros have proven this to be true. While I am sure many players claim they can tell the difference, in many cases, it is club design or shaft they are feeling and not head material.
