So, why isn't anybody that uses the new titleist 905t winning any tournments on the PGA tour? Maybe titty needs to step up to a 460 size head. Sometimes it is good to follow and not lead.
Ernie Els has done well with the 905T, but unfortunately not as well in the US as Internationally.
The Taylor Made R7 is 400cc as well and it is the most played driver on tour, so I don't think it's just the size of the head.....
I love my 905T!

TAYLOR MADE ALL THE WAY, WE SHOULD BE RACKING UP MORE WINS, NO SOULD DEFINATLY, LOL :yuk:

I know that actual TOUR weights are the odd numbers but today I realized that some of the weights for the R7s are different sizes but have the same weight to them. (If you don't get what I am saying, let me explain). I had a 14 gram weight in a TOUR head that I received and noticed that it was MUCH shorter (about the length of a 10g) than the retail TP 14g weight. I was not sure if this was missed marked by TM so I decided to weigh both on a digital scale and they both were the same, 14g's. I like the one that came in the TOUR head because it sits flush in the head rather than sticking out like the TP version.
Is this old news? (Don't remember seeing a post about this)
Has anyone else noticed this?
i have noticed the 13g's that i have are shorter (would figure them to be close to the 14g) & the 14g's i have a touch smaller than a standard, maybe more ill hafta check as my odd & even weight kits are in my locker @ the club.

Anybody know what improvements there are in these shoes over the Z Traxion 3-Stripe ??
For the first time I'd have to say the Black shoe looks better than the white !
dont know the improvements because i ve never wore adidas shoes until now, have been using white, black, fj classic tours. i have a pair of white tour metals & they are comfy as hell, hafta get me sum black ones! but IMO they look the same to me except for cosmetics of course
 I like the short stubby stripes... I'm planning on getting my name embroidered just above the 3 stripes slanting down the way. Will look super cool. Unlike Sergio & Ian P you need factory contacts to get the heel embroidered but my local sports store can do that area just above the stripes
Homestylz, time to speak to the rep and get your name on your shoes man!
LOL, ive got a congical symbol that represents "crazy" (ive got the same thing tattoo'd on my back about my last name in old english!!!) with my name on the top of my heel, figured id put a lil chinese on the shoes since im chinese & portuguese. but everytime i tell someone im chinese they dont believe me! probably b/c ive got all my mothers portuguese looks, was told by someone @foxwoods casino that i look like my dad from my nose to chin! whatever that means, but jboy i will tell you these shoes are much more comfy than my classics

Is this the longest of the bunch?
No my Honma 420RF proto is, I shafted it with the new Fujikura Tour Spec Rombax.
The DFI is 2nd longest for me, The face isnt as Hot as the Honma's but its as long or longer than everything else ive tried. I honestly think its the lowest spinning high C.O.R driver around. Im playing it at 44" and loving it.
chris, could you get me a fujikura tour spec rombax shaft in XS? whats the price?

I dont think TM will relase a TP in the HT line, but I am not sure about the R5TP. If it wont be the actual R5 it will be something very similar from what I have heard. G
i have heard from a lot of people (insiders) that the r5 dual tp will released but from all my tm contacts have heard different

IMO fuji is tough to deal with, after testing drivers @the tm test facilities (about 4/6 months ago) in calsbad my tour reps had to jump through hoops to get me ZCom's. after i did some heavy emailing to chad embry after about a month tm finally got them for me, too bad all that work was for nothing, went with SIX's in my r7's & arent using fuji in my R5 dual TP's. i think its crazy that fiji gave TM (US) trouble after all they make all tm shafts, even exotics. they are a pain in the ass that nobody wants to deal with, especially if someones gonna dump $250+ on a shaft

I believe there is steps through ebay that you can go through to nail false advertising. I think most of these people bidding on these clubs will never realize that what they've purchased is retail.
Believe me it chaps my ass too.
i sent an email to ebay, but they did nothing about it, now that its back up on the block, i just think someone should look out for someone whos eyes are in the wool

this is the same person whom had the so called "tour 905" that auction ended when nobody met the reserve, he got it back up but now there is another person with a shaddy non tour issue 905 just like the guy above; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW, cant anything be done, these guys are sticking people with a retail club they could get from golfsmith for $400 bucks, what ass holes :finger:
660TR ????
in Japanese Golf Clubs
is the .335 shafts too small to fit in the hosel? the only time ive see this happen is with my r5 dual tp's, they are sopposed to be .335 tip but it is tood big to fit it smoothly & can fit a .350 in there snug, the .335 shaft needed a shim that was filed down to fit the sopposidly .335 hosel. a lot of tour heads are going to .350 tips no, cleveland, ping, ect. i wouldnt worry about it, just make sure you have someone who knows what there doing so they dont just toss you shafts with tons of epoxy so it fits. shim the shaft then sand it down little by little until its snug, or you can by epoxy with "beeds" (small little balls) that fill the gap between the shaft & hosel so you dont need a shim. just got a new holy grail with a 660tr, sweet shafts. hope this helps
