    I just purchased this clubhead but decided to go with a 580xd tp tour head instead. For sale: Taylormade 540 Tour Issue head, 9.5*. This is one of the early prototypes for the R500 series drivers. There is no "r" in front of the "540" on the sole of this clubhead. There is no serial # and has a .335 tip diam. The loft is not underlined, thus this is not the DF prototype to the R540XD; but it is about 1/4" deeper than the retail R540's. Approx size is 360 cc's. This club sits dead square. This club head has been played just a couple of rounds. It almost looks new. No scratches or paint chips. Conservative 9+/10 condition. $165.00 shipped. Paypal accepted. I am new to TourSpec Golf, but have positive trade feedback on other forumns. Thanks.
