580 XD TP Shaft Suggestions
Apologies for the threadjack, but I'm considering a 580XD TP to complement my 510 tour. What's your take on the XD TP? I have a 757 in my 510, was considering the same shaft in the 580.

Taylor Made driver experts - what do I have?
One man's trash is another man's treasure. We'll see if the new Cally 454 I picked up today takes some of the luster off the TM.

Taylor Made driver experts - what do I have?
I picked up an r510 off ebay late last year. It was advertised as a deepface or tour-issue model. Can anyone tell me what I have? First, it has the TP flags on the toe. It's an 8.5, with the .5 underlined. the "10" in the r510 is underlined in yellow. The serial number has a 2 above a Txxxxxxx. The face is 2 1/4" at its deepest point. Great driver, worth every penny. Just wondering what I have. Thanks. Schroeder

Player's Hybrid
and possibly those who are concerned about improving their scores  That explains why there are absolutely no touring pros who would ever stoop so low as to play a hybrid.

Another vote for the Sonartec MD. I have a 19* and a 23*, both with the stock IROD shafts. These are quickly becoming money clubs. I have a TM Rescue Mid TP 14*, and the only reason I have it is because the MD didn't come in loft lower than 17*. With respect to the comment suggesting its difficult to get the MDs airborne, I've found that it's easy to set up like you're hitting a 5-wood with a standard length shaft. You really have to take into account the shorter shaft and set up closer. If I start hitting low, thin shots, I know I'm a little too far away. BTW, the MDs are great off the tee.
