  1. If you go here http://www.swingweightestimator.com/, they have a nice little web applet at the bottom of the page. Everything I've built has come in pretty close (+- 1SW) to it's estimate. For instance, I've entered your data (assuming V2 is 96g at 48" - too lazy to look it up right now), and with a 0g grip I get an estimate of E8. Changing to a 42.5" length with a 126g shaft (uncut length of 46"? never looked at specs for steel wood shaft before), I get a SW of E7 with a 0g grip and a 217 gr head.
  2. I am about to order a set of 1150's and install them (with shims :P) in my retail 2004 Rac LT's. If anyone who has used these has any advice on which flex/stepping to choose, I'd appreciate it. My 6I SS is 88-90mph, and I have a pretty smooth transition. My last fitting (that I paid for - not abusing some poor clubmaker), the recommendations were for 1150's (stiff) or good old S300. The pro I take lessons from recommended I move to X100's. I'm currently playing S300's in my J33 combos. My head is hurting from the various conflicting recommendations, but I think I'd like to try something a little stiffer. I hit a very high ball, and would like to keep it down if possible. I'm aware that the shaft doesn't impact flight that much. I'm trying to decide between getting the stiffs (and possibly hard-stepping them once), or getting the X flexes and soft stepping them once or twice. I'd like to use them in 4-PW from the LT's (possibly reshafting some wedges as well if I really like them) so I think I have room to work in either direction. Do Nippon's generally play about the same as S300's, or slightly softer like the lighter weight Nippons? If I were reshafting with S300's I'd probably 'hard step' (actually just trim more) one club. So, what is nearest equivalent? Thanks!
