  1. WOW, that's some impressive hardware, very nice. The wife is limiting my budget, I'm planning a Callaway X460 Tour with a Fuji 555 Speeder, but that's about it. Hope the new sticks serve you well, best of luck!

The Pro Shop re-shafted my FT-3 Tour twice! First time they did damage the head, so they had to order new one. The second time they got it right, put a Fuji 26.3 on it, and it works great. But you have to make sure whoever is doing it knows what the hell they're doing, and to be dam careful!
  3. TM R7 TP (8.5) with a Graphite Design CP-02 (X-Flex) Shaft

A quote direct from the Fujikura Factory Rep on CPM: We really aren't comparable to anyone in the industry. We use a Fujikura Frequency machine with a 7.25 inch butt clamp and a 201 gram head weight. Most other companies use a 5 inch butt clamp and ours will test about 12-13 cycles higher because of this fact.
  6. Forgot to add, if anybody has any questions on this club PM me and I would be happy to answer them.
  7. Guys, just wanted to give you guys a heads up, this is the R510TP I traded in when I purchased my R7 TP. The club is in excellent condition and it has the GD CP-02 shaft, hell the shaft alone will run you $250.00. The CP-02 is a 73g mid/high kick point with 2.0 torque rating and cycles at 267, it has a nice soft active feel to the tip, just a great shaft! Now, I have no stake in this, no money is coming back to me on the sale of this club, but I just thought if there is somebody out there looking for a R510 TP with an outstanding shaft at an excellent price, well here you go: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7110201642

Tai, I know Graphite Design Japan produced it exclusively for the retailer "Golf Design Concepts" in Japan. I still see the CP-02 on their site: http://www.concept-inc.co.jp/products/shaf...d/index.html#cp But it very well might be that GD is not producing this shaft any longer and Golf Design is just selling the stock they have. Joe could answer that question. I play the YS 8.1 in my GBB II 3 wood and your right, its' an excellent shaft at a very reasonable price.

Tai, sorry I've never played the W-60 or W-70, but I have heard they are excellent shafts. What makes the CP-02 so unique, is the fact it has a torque rating (2.0) lower than the GD I-65, but with the soft tip, it works well with my tempo, which is smooth. In the past it seemed every shaft I found with a very low torque rating felt like a 2x4, the CP-02 is the only shaft I've tested that seems to have the best of both worlds.

Tai, sorry to hear the 371 wasn't working for you, but I've been there to man. When the TM 500 series came out I picked up a R510 (the 330cc head not the TP), I was so frustrated with the thing on the course one day I gave it away to one of my buddies. Something to think about with respect to GD shafts for your new W404 is the GD CP-02, as far as I'm concerned this is the best kept secret in the Graphite Design line. Extremely low torque, but with an excellent smooth active feel, just and outstanding shaft. I played it in my R510 TP and now in my R7 TP and the results have been amazing, I'm hitting 80 to 90 percent of my fairways. But not just hitting them but putting it where I want it, the control and feel the CP-02 shaft imparts to your swing is something I've never experienced with any other shaft I've tested. Joe Kwok is the man when it comes to CP-02's, he usually has at least a couple of these bad boys in stock, although I think I may have depleted his inventory somewhat, I have 3 extra CP-02's just incase they stop making them. Well just something to consider, take care and best of luck with the new Drivers.

Cool, but guys I'm wondering what's up with these "loud" R7 TP's? Mine is as quiet as my R510 TP, solid and very muted, no loud report on contact so what gives???
