I was thinking about ordering an 85 gram Grafalloy NT Prototype shaft from Golfsmith and let them PURE it for me. I am going to use this shaft for my 3 wood. I was wondering if once the shaft is cut down to 3 wood length if it will alter the way the shaft needs to be inserted. As you can tell I am new at this and really don't know what I'm talking about and would be open to any suggestions.

I had my Titleist 670's bent 2 degrees strong and it helped me alot. Also I don't hit the ball any lower and I do hit them about half a club longer which is what I was looking for.

Can somebody please tell me keep the ball under the wind? I'm a very high ball hitter and like my ball flight but I would like to know how to hit a low shot too.

The only reason I bought it was to see my clubhead speed because the closest launch monitor is about 2 hours away from where I live. I've only had it about a week and haven't really noticed any increase in distance but I guess I'll give it time.

Well on Mitsubishi's website it says for stiffer performance 1/2" tip. So I guess that means to take it off the tip? I went to one of the local club repair shops and asked him to do it and he was just trying to sell me another shaft so I'm gonna go to another guy. Just wanted to get some feedback on here.

Ok, now that I've determined how much to take off my shaft (1/2"), I was wondering if I will lose a signifigant amount of distance off the tee? The shaft is 45" and when I tip it will become 44.5". I'm not very tall (5'6") and think it may help my accuracy. What do yall think?

I have a Nike SQ Tour driver with a stiff Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 83 shaft. I was looking on their website and it said for stiffer performance for driver: Blind Bore: 1/2" Tip Bore through: No-tip- insert shaft to 2" depth Which one should I do? I'm a newbie at this if you can't tell.

Is there a way for a clubmaker to take a driver that has a closed face and square it? I was jut wondgering because I bought the Nike SQ Tour thinking it would be square and it's not. It's almost as closed as my Titleist 905T.
