    Given that shafts/hosels are standard sizes for a specific model, you can actually convert between the two. For example, pull down the TaylorMade R7 face progression specs from TM Japan and the offset specs from TM North America. If I recall correctly, offset (mm) = 6mm - face progression (mm). So yes, as the face progression goes up, the offset goes down. Cheers, matt
