thanks guys, as far as swingweight, since the project x is a lighter shaft, will this increase the clubs swingweight? also i am in the understanding that if you increase swingweight you will decrease the shafts stiffness.

1- is it true that if you play your irons over standard length, that the project x shafts start to play firmer? 2- if the above statement is true, and i put 5.5 project x in my irons(5 iron= 38.5 inches) what will happen to my swingweight, and how much firmer will these shafts become?

i let go my original steelhead 3wood when the plus model came out. the plus was not as long, i think because it is 16 degrees.

I AM CURRENTLY PLAYING A PENLEY TOUR X IN MY 983E. I AM THINKING ABOUT TRYING A FUJI 660TR IN THIS CLUB IN AN X FLEX. I AM WONDERING(SCARED) IF THE FUJI WILL PLAY STIFFER THAN THE PENLEY. RIGHT NOW THE PENLEY IS NOT INSERTED FULL BORE, JUST 2 INCHES. I DONT WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY ON A FUJI THAT WILL NOT WORK FOR ME, SO PLEASE HELP! p.s i do not plan to install the fuji full bore either. ( thanks bud, i should have include thisimportant info)

i dont know joe, i have it in my 980f, though the spec are the same, it doesnt feel the same. i had one in my driver and was very responsive, this one sucks. let me add that i have one on ebay right now that i pulled from my three wood. i hope its the real deal and people know it.

price is per demand. these shafts are new, PEOPLE WANT THEM!!!! so wre project x when they came out which now manufacturers have as a $20 upgrade per club. wait a while and they will come down.

to reduce the size of your grip, stretch it further down the shaft when installing it. souds easy,but it works. i do it with my midsize grips to make them a little smaller, and it works fine.
