  1. No hats or much really yet, bags yes i can get you but they are made of enamel material which is nice but kinda glossy and easily scratched. I have seen and hit their new driver, sorry i cant release pics yet. Its a pretty good club. All i need is a head for myself to try.

chris, when is the new driver expected to release?

    I now have the Miura blades (Nippon 1150), Tourstage X-blade 2 (S200) and Mizuno MP -33 (S300)

I have been playing them on and off. No specific goal. the other pure blades that I have identified are the Guage Mb2s and the Scratch tour blades.

So looking for used set of blades (first owners only) in excellent/like new condition. Do not want any dings, chrome loss, nicks etc. Prefer with Nippon 1150 tour stiff, but would consider S200/s300/s400

Ready to pay cash or trade or part cash part trade.

    Trade baits include:

CB 1006 with Nippon 1150 (PW has a small chip) else its LIKE new with 6-7 rounds under the belt.

Titliest 905R with Diamana 73 Stiff

Scratch Wedge 58* (3 rounds) with Nippon 1150 stiff TNC grind

585 H 24* with V2 100 stiff flex (used 5-7 rounds) shaft is a custom upgrade from titliest and ultra difficult to get in time.

Please PM me (i am not at my desk all the time) and I will respond to PMS in the order i recieve.

Shipping will be to NY, NY.

  3. Not sure only time will tell. The blade market is pretty small. I personally find no reason in playing a muscle back now days with so many great players CB's on the market.

If their was an EPON blade what model MB would you like it to resemble most?

The Tourstage x blade 2' thin topline but with a longer toe (the tourstage are relatively squarish). the MB5002s are another option.

  4. You can't fit for the potential. That's like asking for someone to sell you a car based on how many tickets they think you'll get. We can't see the fututre. This is the type of client I was talking about. If you can't hit the ball today, don't came and get fit today. We fit based on all the specs. Height, Arm lenght, Hand to floor, blah, blah, blah... And most importantly, the ball flight. The only true indicator of someones swing. How is your swing going to be in 10 rounds? Who knows! You don't, I don't, your instructor doesn't. Getting fit properly in the first place saves a lot of time and money for the customer. Why? Because, once you've been fit right, about the only thing that might change is the lie angle, unless some dramatic change is made to your game or physical nature. To think otherwise is wrong. :atsg_smilie_mizuno:

and thats exactly why I think if one really wants to improve, go to a clubfitter when you are close to having most of your swing fixed (read low single digits) or when improvement is not a main goal anymore i.e. one plays very ocassionally and just wants to get the best score on those ocassions.

when i am in game improvement mode, i want to know when I hit a shot, it reflects my ability and I want feedback. Getting fit for a 2nd grade swing would allow me to make the most of 2nd grade swing but not my potential.

no offense, for golfers bent on improving, clubfitters are not much help until much much later

  5. great comments from everyone so far but let me throw my two cents in. My belief is you should not get club fitted based upon your swing characteristics as much as you should get fitted based upon your physical characteristics. Although shaft fitting may be different, I would want to be fitted based upon height, lenght of arms, etc. I would not want to be fitted based upon my swing. If I have a faulty swing, my personal view is I do not want to be compensated based upon a fault. My swing would never improve and if it did, my club fitting would be wrong. In general, I would rather be fitted based upon characteristics of a good solid swing as opposed to compensation for a bad swing.

    Agree fully...

The goal is to score really good and hit a high percentage of good shots during a round. just doesn't need to be the next round or the next few rounds.

I started golf two years back and the only reason I think my handicap is now down to 10 is that instead of hitting the callaway irons, I hit the mizuno blades. Sure, the 3 iron and 4 iron have made it to the bag only in the last month or so, but if I did not start with the MP 33, I would not have git here. Now, I alternate between the Tourstage X Blade 2 (the ones Chris did not like so much as he believed they are less forgiving than the old X Blades), the MP 33 and the Miura Blades and its my ability to hit a variety of shots with my iron thats defining my game.

I am now working on my driver (handicap could be a couple of strokes lower by using 3 wood, but again focusing on getting into play). I believe that if I can avoid hitting out of bounds from my usual 1-2 times (very narrow hazardous golf course) with my driver, then I get to the 5-6 range. Again, its not a question of hitting straight (I can do it 240 yard or so), but of been able to hit the draw or fade at will or hit on one side of the golf course.

If I had gone to a clubfitter when I started, I am sure he would have fit me for what I was then, a mix of tennis and cricket in my golf swing, rather than what I could become. If i go today, i will be fitted to the 10 handicapper that I am today, not the 5-6 I will be by next spring. Mr. ClubFitter, yes you know all about fitting for the current swing, but you fail when you have to fit for the potential.

Having said that, a club has to be tried over 10-12 rounds (not played continously with the same clubs) before one can say it works or not.

Is there any difference in terms of quality, forging etc. I understand that the tournament blades sole is better suited to US golf turfs.

But if one were to pull the trigger on the miura blades, which should one go for - mb 5002 heads or the tournament blades and why?

on the verge of getting the same with nippon 1150 tour stiff flex shafts and will appreciate any help.

    Title says it all.

looking for a good set of irons (preferably blades, but will look at players CBs too) with the nippon 1150 tour stiff flex. The shaft is important as i will not be considering reshafting (just sold MB5002 because it had the wrong shaft)

    Heads only offers are welcome.

So all those of you have the miuras (only mb 5002 - no other miuras), scratch, xdrives, gauges etc. that have the nippon 1150 stiff flex in your closet, make me offers (need pics and $ shipped and paypalled to NY, NY, 10024).

    I am ok with anything from 2-PW, 3-PW, 4-PW, 5-PW.

I am paypal verified and my id on the auction site is nyckkr

I am interested in purchasing a near new Mizuno Ux2 or near new tourstage ViQ. This is purchase for a father's day gift. Club should have nippon steel shafts.

it will go into a bag that has the sonartec md 19* (2 iron replacement) in irod reg graphite shaft. So it could be a replacement for the 3 iron or 4 iron (blades with True Temper Steel DG shafts stiff).

Shipping will be to NY, NY.

Given that the Fourteen Hybrid is just released, i am willing to purchase a brand new one (would be kinda exclusive to give that one).
