  1. Thank you for the advice I think where my fix is is pretty much what you said, PRACTICE, because I have to admit I never thought of that concept of 1/2 and 3/4 swing, I mean I guess I do that or try to anyway, but never consistantly tried to do it if you know where I'm going with that. my bag is not fancy actually just a hand me down from my dad, He buys new, I get the old, these are standard King Cobra II Iron set complete down to the PW, then King Cobra II 3 and 5 woods, led by some Driver called a T REX don't ask I don't even know all I know is it works, I drive anywhere between 270 and 300 depending on my consentration that particular day, haha. All my Clubs are offset which I originally liked because I used to slice something fierce, but I've worked on that, and have gone the other way now, I have a hook from hell, but I have been recently been working on control and have managed to put the ball where I want it left or right. I'd be lucky if I actually get out Golfing 10 times a year, due to work and weather in the winter, but damn if I don't love the game, just want to get a little better.
  2. ok to start with I allready know I am by far not as good of a golfer as the most of you, just by reading your posts! hard spin, low fattty, reduce your ankle weight here, touch your left ear for a nickle spin in the flat zone, what ever, I'm just an average 8 handicap golfer, that does not realize spin, shaft weight, lob, or even the projection my ball will carry if I utilize the alien golf club in the sand, but what I do know is that I hit my PW 150 to 160 I don't carry a SW and my 7I will take care of me within 30ft but that damn red zone is killing my under average game, I've tried using a SW but hit that way past the green from the 100 markers, and backing off on my swing sucks, and choking up just gives me like 5 yds or so so what the hell do I do in that 100 to 40 yds range besindes wing it cuz it's costing me like 5 strokes a round, I putt within 10 feeet in one, normally 2 outside that range, so my game is only lacking the approach! any one been there? and overcome! le me know the trick!
  3. yes the short game is now made easier for me! this club does not let you mis-hit a shot, it can only be hit in one direction, so if you aim right it goes right. there is absolutely no room for error thats why I like it, no toe hit or heel hits! it's dead on where you aim every time!
  4. my first time posting here but just wanted to know if anyone knows the process of having a new Club manufactured and or picked up by a company, the reason I ask is my dad who loves the game and has spent the better part of his life playing it, has designed a new putter, and has recently aquired his patent for it, but now seems to be in deadlock with the Idea on where to go next, he has made two copies of the club with the help of a few friends, and I have actually gotten the priviledge of trying it out, now if someone like myself can knock 2-3 strokes off of my less than average score, it would be amazing to see what it would do in the hands of a professional. I honestly believe this club can and will be the next two ball putter of it's generation. except for one thing, if any of you have had the priviledge to be on in two, on a par 5 the disgraced yourself by 3 or 4 putting you need this putter!
