It is crown is in perfect shape, bottom in good shape, and the face has a worn chrome spot in the black color from hitting it in the same spot. You can check out the Black AF101 in the TSG proshop and I can send pics. Doc

Guess it is time to give up my blades. Sold my Miura blades last week and now am selling my Wilson Staff FG 59 blades. These irons are in great condition and am selling them for 1/2 off of what I paid for them. They are 3 iron through PW and standard L/L/L. The shafts are S300 with red Golf Pride grips.d Incredible blades that I am letting go for only SOLD plus shipping. And yes, always open to trades for JDM equipment. Check them out. Thanks for looking. Doc
  7. Still have one for $140 shipped.
  8. I am playing the RC 704 irons now and they are incredible. They set-up perfectly, small head, feel great. I was playing Yamaha Tour irons but these have moved to the top of the chain for my irons. RC 704 are #1, Yamaha Tour are #2, and Miura 202 are #3. Was actually very surprised that I like the RC irons more than my Yamahas. Doc
  9. Look at Potuna, a new set of Onoff irons and an iPhone-he is styling! Of course I have an iPhone.

Would very much like to find a Yamaha Inpres X 60* wedge-black. I have the 52 and 56-need a 60* to complete the set. Thanks, Doc
  15. I am so happy that Potuna did not like his new Yamaha driver because now I have it and I like it. I put a brand new "White" House of Forged shaft in it and it is a monster. If you are not familiar with House of Forged, they provide long drive shafts for long drive competitors. All their shafts are white like the Patriot and the Sadlowski but their newest shaft is called the "White" shaft. Their shafts are made by Matrix and all of their shafts are very nice. You can check of House of Forged online. One again, thanks Potuna for trading me for the driver. Doc

Ha, I have always hit it a long ways. My height is 6 ft and 210 stocky build. I have been playing for 50 years now and think my swing technique helps generate clubhead speed. I have had a few lessons-like 100s of them. Ha, now if I could only chip as well as I drive. Thanks for the compliment, Doc

How great is this. Had another session with the REP today and increased my club head speed. One of the pros where I hang out suggested I make an effort to turn my shoulders a few more degrees on the backswing. Being 65 years old that is difficult, but I made a significant increase in my turn (about killed me) and my club head speed went form 100-102 to 106-107. And, the ball even went straighter. I tell you, this REP is an amazing gauge to have.

I received my PRGR Red Eyes Pocket from TSG and immediately took it to the range at my course. The four teaching pros very quickly gathered around and we had a hit-off. What a blast! I am old so was not as fast as the pros since they are all young. The fastest club head speed was 117 mph and the fastest ball speed was 172 mph. It was quite amazing to see how competitive the pros got because none of them wanted to be the slowest, whom we called Pattycake-lol. One really neat thing was when this one pro, who has a shorter backswing, was hitting an x-flex shaft at about 111 mph. I told him he should try this other driver with a stiff shaft and his club head speed went up to 114 mph. It really opened his eyes. Goes to show you that it is important to match the proper flex for your swing speed. What a great little gadget and I am looking forward to many more sessions with it. Thanks TSG, Doc
  19. Thanks so much for the translation. The REP is really amazing. The Doc
  20. Check out JumboMax grips (jumbomax.com). They come in large, xlarge, xxlarge, and xxxlarge. A client of mine has a set on his clubs and they are very thick. Doc
  21. Have to chime in here about "I do not buy what the worlds' best players play is the best." Do you really believe that if graphite shafts improved the pro's games that they would not be using them? They are playing for big bucks each week and for their livelyhoods. They are constantly tinkering with their equipment and trying new products in order to gain an advantage over their fellow pros. And I am sure everyone of them has tested graphite shafts in their irons. If graphite shafts performed better than steel shafts, I guarantee everyone of them would be using them. I also like graphite shafts and use them, but as a club builder and having tested and played both steel and graphite shafts, steel shafts are more consistant and have a tighter ball dispersion on shots to the green. Graphite shafts are longer but pros are not that concerned with hitting the balls longer, they already hit the ball a long way. They want accuracy with their irons and steel gives that to them.
