Most wedges are taper. The 208kgx are.

Actually K's wedge shaft is taper.
  3. Come on guys... 2 days left. All you have to do is post to get a chance at some free stuff, who doesn't want free stuff?? (^_~)
  4. None yet but probably soon. I didn't like the most recent series either. Let's hope they do a redesign.
  5. I didn't see the progrerssion myself as I only had a 7 iron available to me a few weeks ago. I will go check them out. I still thought they felt great.

More similar to NS Pro.. probably in between the 1150 and 1050 with a mid kick and raw weight just over 110g. They are only available in wedge flex.
  7. As everyone said here go the fairway route. I did. I tried carrying utilities and they are useful in some case but I m much more consistent with woods inlcuding occasionally a 9 wood. The Tourstage ViQ is a great choice, as are the Royal Collection Star FD or if you really want to try something different the Mizuno JPX A25. All conisderably easier to hit than a hybrid. And yes you will have to regrip as I mentioned to you in your email unfortunately.

There's not much of a market for Romaro even in Japan. I think when you asked about the last time Tourspecgolfer pretty much summed it up: http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/t27820.html A used set of RD-02's shafted go for around 500 in Japan.

Actually while I thought they were Zodia's best wedge feel wise and spin wise I actually had the same issue. I'm a digger and the US Specs also dug like mad for me... while they felt good and spun well (yes they destroyed balls), I didn't find them friendly to my swing.
  10. I never said it doesn't have a lot of spin. I said "it doesn't destroy balls". (^_^) It has adequete and controllable spin.

Definitely, I've also seen them in the sale bins in Japan and not going anwhere even with steep discounts especially the island grind series and there is not much talk about Zodia these days. Those US Specs were their best wedges in my opinion.

Same price as the tour bag.

Welcome to the forum? Hopefully they are an improvement over the last few generations... Zodia has truly lost its luster in previous years with some unpopular models. They're not only unknown outside of Japan but were becoming that way in Japan as well.
  14. They were an early 2007 model... long sold out.

They will be in the Pro Shop this weekend. (^_^)
  16. Yeah the new Aero is coming out right before the Japan Golf Fair (wow its that time of year already!) It is geared towards a similar level player ie better player but with a shallower face and deeper and more MOI than the original Legacy. It will also feature i-Mix interchangable shafts. It's touted as more forgiving and higher launching than the Legacy.

You may have better luck asking for the Epon Type X, they are the same design and probably more readily available here.
  18. Great wedge especially for the price. I did a brief review here as did Goodsie: http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/t27298.html
  19. Even in japan second hand sets are hard to find... and still draw a premium price close to new... it's got like collectors item status. No wonder Yamaha is doing this again!
  20. RC has long been known to make some of the best hybrid/utilties for the better golfer... they've now added a driving iron the BBD's 504i along with a new utility for the average golfer the FD Utility. BBD'S 501i Driving iron: FD UTILITY:
  21. That would be really hard to get. It's from Solid Contacts, I don't think Ryo is playing that anymore and I'd have to see if it even went reatail.

Black and Red series... doggie is back (he's also on the current limited pro model).

Dave, Very soft and almost blade like. PRGR doesn't offer a blade but this is the closest thing to it. The 500BL are definitely comparable to the 900MD.
  24. B, an additional 7-10 days for woods and 10-14 days for irons.
  25. They've always done the woods but its nice to see them add the irons and wedges this year around... I wish Tourstage would do the same with their irons and wedges.
