1. Yest the bore on the 435 is I think a tad deeper than standard. This is a good example. I had two LY01 Hot driver shafts, one a 435 and another in a Ryoma the different bore depth AND height made the identical specs shaft play like 10+ cpm more in the 435.
2. The Bangvoo iron shaft is lighter than the CBI-01 and has a tad more torque. You may find it more lively than the Crazy with a bit more kick especially in the long irons. The torque is progressive with torque decreasing in the set from the long to short irons resulting in more distance from the long iron shafts to more control in the short iron shafts. I played the CBI-01 in a set of Burner Forged and had the Bangvoo in a set of Legacy and both performed as you would expect from high modulus carbon, predictable, good feel, good distance and great dispersion. For me I leaned towards the Bangvoo simply because I liked the lighter weight.
3. Hi Steve, yes and there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Not only the depth of the shaft insertion ie how deep the bore of the hosel is but the height of the insertion ie a head like the Ryoma has a very long neck meaning the tip of he shaft is much higher from the sole of the club. So two identical drivers could have a similar bore depth of 30mm but one driver has a really long neck design meaning the location of the shaft tip is higher in the head even though the insertion "depth" is the same. This results in a more active tip section in a more soft or looser feel which is the case for Ryoma.
4. They wanted help to gain likes and spread the word about their page so we helped introduce them and promote the page. All the rest are their own posts ie press days, R&D sessions, Kobayashi-san at the range.
5. Yup 340cc X-drive... very classic, very pear. Was legendary at the time and Shigeki Maruyama's choice driver.
6. That was nearly 6 years ago. I still own that driver... though it is in Toronto!
7. Great to hear Steve. You are always a pleasure to help.
8. Nope the page is run by S-Yard. I have no idea what Kobayashi-san was grinding as I don't live at the S-Yard office (^_^) They occasionally borrow our photos but the posts are theirs own.
9. B, 100mph and under, total distance under 250 would definitely be an SR for this shaft unless you are very aggressive. The stock shaft in the T.388 is not your typical softer type stock shaft. It is very stable. I think the stock shaft Stiff is stiffer than a DI-6 stiff.
10. M, maybe you will be able to finally hit them today!!
11. Dare we speculate the rumored muscle back has begun its new existence?? (^_^)
12. Actually cutting away the holes for the weights removes a lot of the original weight. In the end, the head weight is a respectable 383g, E3 Swing Weight.
13. Sasaya-san has made another Multiple Inserts prototype. As many of you know all the weights used by Gold's factory are hand machined by Gold's themselves. When it comes to this kind of intricate modification and cutting of the head, this is essential to ensure the perfect fit. I don't think anybody can match the Gold's quality and workmanship. It is simply so clean. What surprised me most was I figured all the weights would alter the feel of the putter negatively , but putting the head after I shot the photos, it feels very soft but with very good feedback. Pleasantly surprised!
14. By the way R, you may have gotten tracking already but both are on the way to you. Probably sitting in customs!!
15. US customs have gotten progressively worse of the last couple of years. Things used to clear so quickly but now can sit forever and nobody, USPS or customs will take responsibility or move on a package until someone "discovers" it. I have no idea what is going on with USPS as I live in Japan but I have heard things are not good there hence the poor service. I always tell the customer just call and harass them until someone does something. Some reps apparently say they can't do anything and some actually try to do something. As the seller, we technically cannot do anything until after 2 weeks and then we file a claim which goes from Japan Post (the fastest most efficient carrier in my opinion) to USPS which again they sit on for ages... its terrible!
16. Custom orders are taking longer (though RIDuffer's went out already).
17. Last bit of extra stuff in my room I need to clear out for this seasons new bag. Callaway Legacy Forged 5-PW Stock Legacy 50i Graphite Regular Flex There is chatter and signs of use, shafts have rubbing on them. Just regripped with brand new Muziik Dry Compound grips (have not played them since the grips went on). Will not do heads only, makes no sense for me to pull the shafts which I have no use for. Endo forged, the best Legacy iron made, non conforming grooves, all around performance in a reasonably smallish head. Very forgiving, very good distance (24* 5 iron) 320.00 shipped paypal gifted Adidas Japan 2012 Tour Bag Same bag as used by several TM pros here on the Japan Tour In great shape. Hood is see through so you can see your clubs all the time. Of course it has a 3 point harness and the opening is 9.5" This bag is HEAVY. When we sold it it was 575.00 + 125.00 shipping from Japan = 700.00 300.00 shipped payal gifted (shipping will cost me close to 125.00)
18. 7 Piece endo forged... soft but crisp, Sound is higher pitched due to the shape of the head but still soft.
19. I said I've owned 5 sets over the years but its possible it was more like 6 or 7, I must have sent like 3 at least your way?
20. Go for the 80's its a good balance between distance and dispersion still. As you move to the heavier weights they perform more and more like steel.
21.

Master Sasaya of Gold's Factory is a man who appreciates the fine details in premium workmanship. A few months ago we were talking about how some high end cars have a single "Meister" defined as "a person expert in or renowned for a specific skill" who builds the engines in their high end models from start to finish. We all know that nobody can tweak or modify a putter like Master Sasaya does and he is very much in his own way a Meister. Using the word Meister he created his new line of one off, one of a kind putters under the banner Meister Absolute Crafting. These new M.A.C. putters would use all of Gold's Factory's best design ideas, each be unique in its own way and have only one ever made. Master Sasaya takes each head, machined from JIS SUS303 and through hand machining, grinding, polishing, modifying and finishing create his usual beauty. He asked me what I thought about names for each putter as he wanted to give each unique putter a name, and I suggested why not pay homage to the Greek Gods? Their names as putters would sound very cool. Master Sasaya agreed and we now have the first 4 M.A.C. putters here for sale. Artemis, Prometheus, Apollo and Zeus. Only one of each will ever be made so owning one will mean owning a one of a kind M.A.C. model. I have been lucky enough to have the Master send me the putters for photos so not only have I gotten to see the awesome work in person but I've been able to roll a few with each one and they not only look great but roll the ball superbly and feel awesome.
ARTEMIS PROMETHEUS APOLLO ZEUS
All 4 putters are for sale immediately. Once sold there will be no more as they are all 1 of 1 creations! You can contact us to buy or check out from the pro shop in a bit after we add them.
22. Lee there is no final batch, these are production wedges so no batch has been deemed "final". If you want custom it will take time as you noted in your email to me.
23. I only have a few shots from the show...
