  1. They are not even out yet... not till after the Golf Fair.
  2. We can get them.... very expensive... also I won't see them in person till next week but based on the FP, looks to have a lot of offset. Don't know who makes them... yet.
  3. 1. How does this compare to Crazy or Quadra and what models did you play? Just as good if fit correctly. I played the BA WA, Pentacross Irons, Tricross, M Series. 2. Is this a high moduls carbon shaft and if so, what's the tonnage? 46/50/80T? Yes but roddio no matter how many times I ask will not say what the grade is. I have been trying to convince them that it is a marketing tactic to reveal the carbon grade especially considering how popular high modulus is. But they are very secretive. Even when I was at the factory and watched them produce the shafts from start to finish, I could not take pics... just of the admin offices and the outside of Globeride (two buildings in the pic below are Globeride in Higashikurume). I suspect between 40 and 50t. The bottom pic is Labospec where the assemble custom and tour builds. 3. Full sheet like the Quadra or part like the NS Pro Reggio? They won't say as above but most likely full sheets. 4. They are supplied by Quadra as well or they make their own? There are not many brands that make their own carbon. They won't say but my guess is Toray. 5. With a 93/94mph avg speed (range 91 to 95 mph), what flex for this? R or SR? If its the M5 then SR as its made to play at a longer length 46" or longer. 6. Which Crazy shaft would this play most like? Softer butt softer tip... probably most like the LY02 Noir. The Tri Cross vs the Penta cross is no differnce in tonnage but different patter of weaves.
  4. I'd rather not but email me and we shall see.
  5. After testing every year's Tour Model, these were my favorite because I found them the best looking and the easiest to hit. Some better players may think otherwise as they may have preferred more workability. Wonderful feel and I really liked the face milling.
  6. Selling some drivers built up in my collection. This driver is long and runs for ever aqs it spins low and launches strong but its time to let it go. Head shows signs of regular use, shaft is in great shape, grip is like new (recently changed). 10* Real Loft 250CPM (7" Clamp so approx 238-242 with 5" clamp and depending on machine) Depending on who measures it, 45.25"45.5" D3 Weight wrench included (its just a hex wrench and 4 weights (3 are in the head) 6g 6g 4g 1.5g) Crazy Longest Yard Limited Head Cover. New as built would be 1450.00 + 36.00 shipping. 640.00 shipped - paypal gifted please would be appreciated. Sorry for the sub par pics... raining outside and dark day unfortunately...
  7. The Fullmiere is not easy to slip, I cannot even budge it once it is attached to the club. It is on totally solid. The alignment sounds interesting though for the Skypro. Will be testing this weekend the Fullmiere. You do go through an initial alingment or calibration at setup.
  8. The unit has to be aligned perfectly square with your shaft... i think it may NOT take the face angle of your driver into affect. So when it senses impact it calculates the angle of the shaft to the ball assuming you have a square faced driver. If it says you hit it with a 0* face angle and your driver is 1.5* closed it probably means you hit it 1.5* closed. This is my guess but I would have to ask Fullmiere on Monday. Android 2.3 and 4.x are fine. Iphone/ipad app is listed as coming soon.
  9. I stuck it back on another driver and took another picture... foam at the front and the back is on the grip.
  10. Its a plastic attachment/bracket with foam where it actually contacts the shaft. It could potentially cause rubbing on the shaft but it fits pretty firmly and then uses a rubber ring/band to secure... Here is a pic though I think the front of the bracket should overlap the edge of the grip which in that case would allow for no hard parts of the bracket to come in contact with the shaft, just the foam under the bracket.
  11. I added to the first post, the unit has launched with only the Android app ready, iphone/ipad app is still in development and will come at a later date.
  12. 249.00 + 20.00 shipping. This has to be the fastest I have ever made 3 sales after posting a forum post. (^_^)
  13. That was fast.... bogeydog and jimmieboi, thanks for being the first ones to jump aboard! (^_^) Golfsense... i just checked it out, is attached to your hand, this is on your shaft so measures the actual speed of your club. Golfsense also does not measure, impact ie level blow, down blow, etc. or swing path ie inside out, outside in, or face angle at impact.
  14. There is a new tool available here called Fullmiere and it is awesome. This is the tool to tell you what your swing really is doing. I just got a test unit here and this is the unit that will make me a better golfer. The Red Eyes Pocket was great but doesn't really tell you what is wrong with your swing. This does! Bluetooth connectivity with your smart phone. Attaches right to your shaft and takes measurements 500 times per second. Is not affected by different grips or hand positions since the unit is right on your club. Measures you swing speed through your ENTIRE swing, tells you if you are on plane, whether your attack angle is a level blow, upper blow or down blow. Records whether your swing path is inside out or outside in. Even tells you your face angle at impact! Measures you tempo on the upswing and downswing. Records your shaft movement and swing through the entire swing for playback. Keeps all the data so you can compare and compare to other golfers! Here are some pics of the screens for Fullmiere. It captures data live real time to your smartphone via bluetooth while you are swinging (the unit is just charging in the photos). You can use any club with the unit and it works for lefties and righties. Awesome tool to see what your swing is actually doing. The swing playback also plays back your swing in real time or slow motion and you can see at all points of your swing your actual swing speed ie make sure your speed peaks at impact, not before or after. You can see all the views of your swing a 360* 3D view which is very cool. Fullmiere also made a youtube video to show the features: They have an English video and the app for your smart phone is english but all the instructions are in Japanese so I am working on a translation. The unit is available now and I will be doing a writeup on the blog. At product launch only the Android app is ready, iphone/ipad will follow at a later date. It needs a micro usb cable which is not included but most people probably own due to their smart phone. Any questions fire away!
  15. Yoro Craft promo video! 16. Yes thats correct we will send the shaft to the Endo factory if its not a usual suspect like Tour AD, Fujikura etc.
  17. Please note after speaking with S-Yard today they wanted us to make a change to the way we are selling the T.388. They are offering it to TSG with a head only option but only but only if that head is custom built and sold as a complete club. So unfortunately it is no longer available to the customer direct as head only. S-Yard will honor all orders up to yesterday with heads only but from here on in the club must be either stock shaft or custom shaft direct from TSG.
  18. Feel is subjective and personal. Soft for one person may not be a soft for another. The best feel will come from the iron you can strike the most consistently in the sweet spot. Feel is affected by numerous factors, material of the iron, design of the iron, even the grind of the iron which affects the way the iron interacts with the ground and its ability to get under the ball, and very much affecting the feel will be shaft and then finally the ability to hit the sweet spot. Things like ball, grip and even course condition will play an effect as well. Many people find the ONOFF Forged very soft, and I think it has a lot going for it when it comes to material, design, and a big easy sweet spot to hit. A blade "probably" is the most pure as long as you can strike it well... it would be the softest club for a scratch golfer perhaps but it won't be for a high handicapper.
  19. If there can be fake Diamanas and fake Crazy even, surely Fujikura and Basileus can be faked as well. As Ed says buy from a legit source and authorized reseller, for shafts its a must anyway if you want the warranty.
  20. CB46 is tip stiffer hence its less tendency to go left, slightly lower launch than the TJ and slightly less spin. Its quite balanced all around, flex wise they CPM out very similarly. You won't struggle with the CB46 if you are fine with the TJ. Bogeydog gamed both extensively and I think he preferred the CB if I remember correctly.
  21. Yes the 513 531 519 were all limited protos... which have become retail models. The 519 is the new CB Tour. The 513 is now the RoyDeco Magarun The 531A is now the RoyDeco Super Speed The 531B is now the RoyDeco Deep Impact
  22. Hi A, 531 is no longer being made, it was a prototype and is the new RD shaft. You really can't compare the 531 to either the TJ or CB46. The 531 is an ULTRA light and plays quite soft. Slow swingers and smooth releases will benefit from the RD/531/513 shafts and those wanting to specifically build an ultra light driver. The TJ and CB 46 shafts are not that far apart in in their characteristics. The torque is a tad higher in the TJ and even though it can be played by smoother swingers, it is quite firm and still gives very good control. The CB46 is a slightly lower torque, about the same weight and is softer in the butt area which is where the shaft gets its feel from. It is considered more of a control shaft while the TJ is more of a distance shaft.
  23. We've already got more than 10 orders for the driver and I thank all of you who have taken the leap! I just got off the phone with S-Yard and they have enough stock to fill all our orders for the next couple of weeks at least. Its just a question of assembling the custom orders and getting the clubs down from Endo in Niigata to the S-Yard warehouse which is very close by here in Chiba. We should see most if not all of the orders go out this week!
  24. They were originally Daiwa Seiko then just Daiwa and then just Globeride now. But Daiwa Seiko and Seiko are (were) two different companies.
  25. Roddio is Globeride formerly Daiwa. Roddio is manufactured in Higashikurme along with ONOFF. S-Yard is no longer known as Seiko S-Yard and is now known simply S-Yard Golf.
