  1. I'm not sure why the maru gets such a reputation for being hard to hit. I have the maru and think its great (feel, workability, distance, head size, sound). of course, its not a 460cc bomber but everyone gives the impression that its impossible to hit. even off center i still get 4/5 distance with decent accuracy. I like it better than the j340 which feels a little less solid than my maru foam filled. i still think the j340 is awesome but i'm just used to my old, trusty maru. I have a GD cp02 in mine and i get boring, deep, medium trajectory on my normal swing. trajectory is easy to vary with this club.
  2. anyone pick up an A3 yet, or test driven, or have an opinion. Everything looks great to me, just waiting for the 3.2 quattro dsg to come out. although impatience is pulling me towards the 2.0T. Just need them to put the 2.0quattro on the line and i'll pick it up in a sec.
  3. j. miller is hardly a tool. he was bomb in his day and did things his own way, as he is doing now. not my definition of a tool. People who have achieved in the way that J. miller has are definitely not misinformed or completely off-track. the guy definitely knows what he's talking about and everyone (you and me) make mistakes sometimes. Under the pressure of the tv cameras, anyone might say things they regret- even a cocky guy like jm. fine. regardless of one's attitude (cocky or humble), i think one is always aware of the impression left on others. j. miller could be the way he is just to provoke thought. ever think about that?
  4. I've used both adidas and footjoy. Both a great walking shoe. Just picked up some gel fusions at tgw.com for 99.50 with ground shipping. Takes about a week. Most comfortable golf shoes ever. Can't beat that.
