X-Blade AirMuscle
Thanks for the update. We've been dying to hear more about these things. So, let me get this straight...you play a 7-wood, #2 AirMuscle, and then a 3-wood? That's kind of unique? Why not replace the 7-wood with the #3 AirMuscle? Is there something in the ball flight of the #3 that doesn't meet expections the way you 7-wood does? Also, what is the ballflight like for both #3 and #2? Flat piercing or high with soft decent? Thanks.

Need advice on Purchase of Tourstage Z101's
I think you should wait until you hit 'em, like e said. I don't find that they hit that much higher than anything else. They're plenty long enough too. PW is already 47*.

Need advice on Purchase of Tourstage Z101's
The z101 sets up and plays very much like a blade. It's a true "players" CB, mid to high trajectory and very good feel. I find them forgiving. Others say not so much. The TS-201 are more of a true CB. They are a little bigger, have a little more offset, and higher hitting. They feel nice but not in the category of Z101, MR23, or even the TS202. The 202s are getting more play than the TS201s. You might want to check 'em out . They look very similar to the Z101 but are more forgiving, yet they retain excellent feel and workability. I hope this helps. Good luck. Dwayne

I thought the MP30 were a little high hitting, light and crisp feeling. Not bad at all but not the silky smooth, solid feel of the Z101s--or the MR23s for that matter.

The brushed are the same as the chrome. Thanks MC Good to know....Thanks. Jim, I wasn't questioning you on the information. Sorry if it seemed that way. I was just saying that that information was news to me. I've reshafted them to the DGs yet but now I'm pretty sure the difference in feel between my 2 sets was the shaft. Dwayne, Don't worry bud. I know we are all trying to get to the truth here. I wanted to know for sure as well. Hope your Thanksgiving is the best ever and your a good guy to have around here, that's for sure. :D ;color_ Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

I never heard that the Z101s had copper, only the MR23s. Supposedly this is what's giving it it's superior feel and sound. They feel really great, and they are different feeling than the Z101. But it's not that much of a difference. I attributed the difference to the shafts I was using in each. DGS300 in the MR23, feeling livey and crisp. Rifles in the Z101s felt smooth and soft. Let's get to the bottom of this. We need confirmation.

Really, other than feel I couldn't find much difference between the two. The size difference isn't much. Here are some pics: At address: Z101, MR23, and NB-32.

Wow! You guys paid THAT much for your Zs? I guess I did great then.... What make MR23s better...besides looks? Uh...some of us don't feel that way at all. What makes the MR23s different. Well...I found the feel to be a little more lively, just a little. Both set up very similar, impreceptible difference between the two. Ball flight was similar, and to be honest I found the Z101s to be a little longer. It was a close decision for me but I went with the Zs OVER the 23s, given that the both played exceptional the deciding factor FOR ME was appearance.
