Bridgestone B-330 Tour in Asia?
Its Tourstage in most parts of Asia. Myself and others think the B330 is the same ball as the 04 release Tourstage X01. The X-01 balls have 368 dimples, same as the Precept U-Tri Tour. Maruyama played the equivilent version of the UTT in the past. The B330 has 330 dimples. Different ball.

Todd "Big Hitter" from bsg ran some launch monitor tests on the B33 along with Titleist ProV1, ProV1X, new ProV1-X, new HXTour, and the Nike One Black. The launch moniter results showed that the B33 was the longest tested, more than a yard longer than the new ProV1-X. Definetly worth a look here.

What is the best Tourstage driver?
Bridgestone will be launching two Titanium forged drivers, along with irons and wedges, at the PGA Show this month. Drivers will be J33P, 375 cc pear shaped. Lower launch with higher spin. The J33R, 420 cc deeper face with higher launch, flatter trajectory with less spin. Made along side all the Japan TourStage drivers from Bridgestone. Stuart Appleby picked up additional length with the combination of the Tour B330 ball along with the J33R driver. Told the Tour reps at TaylorMade to stop trying to get him to switch back. Stuart was not under contract to play the driver, but chose to based on performance.

Bridgestone 2005
I'm surprised you have never experienced a Japan company not knowing squat about its U.S counter part. Yup for the last 2 years I have experienced Tourstage not having a clue about the U.S release's...NO CLUE! Thats not saying the company don't know about them of course. Try asking a U.S Srixon Rep about TN proto's or the I-404's, he will not have a clue for sure... Try asking a Mizuno U.S rep about the JPX driver or maybe ask a Japan rep about the Hi Fli. Its nothing new that most employees don't know very much outside what they are told. PM me if you want to know the names of the reps i deal with, but really what will you do about it... :-D Trust us, we do know what our left and right hands are doing.
